Worldwide, one of the most worrying problems within health professionals is stress, since it affects one of the most important workforces in any center, these being the nurses, who currently exercise a profession that demands a lot from them, since there is work overload, direct contact with different diseases, problems in the work environment, among other elements that influence their work performance. The objective of a general level will be to determine the relationship between the level of stress and the professional performance of the nursing staff in the Adult Intensive Care Unit of a hospital, 2022. Methodologically, the research was structured as an analytical, correlational, quantitative, non-experimental, basic and crosssectional method, the sample was made up of 50 nurses from the Adult ICU unit of a hospital in 2022 and two questionnaires will be used as instruments. For the processing of the information, the descriptive analysis of the variables will be used and, in addition, the SPSS 26 statistical program will be used, and a normality test will be applied in order to determine the distribution of the data and thereby determine whether to use the test. of Rho Spearman or Pearson, through this it will be possible to find the relation of the variables; Finally, for the presentation of both the descriptive and inferential analysis, tables and figures of the data collected will be used.
Resumen
A nivel mundial una de las problemáticas más preocupantes dentro de los profesionales del área de salud es el estrés, puesto que, este llega a afectar una de las fuerzas laborales más importantes en cualquier centro, siendo estas las enfermeras, quienes en la actualidad ejercen una profesión que demanda mucho de ellos, puesto que existe sobrecarga de trabajo, contacto directo con distintas enfermedades, problemas en el ambiente laboral, entre otros elementos que llegan a influir sobre el rendimiento laboral que estas llegan a presentar. El objetivo de a nivel general será determinar la relación entre el nivel de estrés y el desempeño profesional del personal de enfermería en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos adultos de un hospital,2022. Metodológicamente la investigación se estructuró como un método analítico, correlacional, cuantitativo, no experimental, básico y transversal, la muestra se integró 50 enfermeras de la unidad de UCI Adulto de un hospital en el año 2022 y como instrumentos se emplearán dos cuestionarios. Para el procesamiento de la información se empleara el análisis descriptivo de las variables y, además se hará uso del programa estadístico SPSS 26, y y se aplicará una prueba de normalidad a fin de determinar la distribución de los datos y con ello determinar si emplear la prueba de Rho Spearman o Pearson, a través de esta se podrá encontrar la relación de las variables; finalmente, para la presentación tanto del análisis descriptivo e inferencial se utilizará tablas y figuras de los datos recolectados.
