Level of knowledge about the human papillomavirus and the preventive attitude in adult female patients of reproductive age who are treated at the Buenos Aires Health Center, Santa Eulalia, 2023

Abstract

This research has as Objective: Determine the level of knowledge and preventive attitude about the human papillomavirus in adult female patients of reproductive age who are treated at the Buenos Aires health center. Santa Eulalia 2023. The study methodology is hypothetical deductive with a non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional. The sample will consist of 117 women of reproductive age. Its technique is the survey and the instrument is They applied 2 questionnaires. The results reflected in the relationship between the level of knowledge and the preventive attitude about the human papillomavirus that there is an average preventive attitude with average knowledge in 48.7%. In the knowledge dimension of Generalities there is a medium preventive attitude with low knowledge at 34.2%. In the relationship of the Level of knowledge in the knowledge dimension of Transmission-Risk Factors, there is an average preventive attitude with average knowledge at 40.2%. In the relationship of the Level of knowledge in the knowledge dimensión of Signs-Symptoms-Diagnosis, there is an average preventive attitude with low knowledge at 29.1%. In the relationship of the Level of knowledge in the knowledge dimensión of Complications-Treatment, there is an average preventive attitude with average knowledge at 35.9%. It is concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship with an Alpha of 0.000, between the level of knowledge and the preventive attitude about the human papillomavirus in adult female patients of reproductive age who are treated at the Buenos Aires health center. Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar el Nivel de conocimiento sobre el virus papiloma humano y la actitud preventiva en pacientes mujeres adultas en edad reproductiva que se atienden en el centro de salud Buenos Aires. Santa Eulalia 2023. La metodología de estudio es hipotetico deductivo con diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal la muestra estará constituida por 117 mujeres en edad reproductiva su tecnica es la encuesta y el instrumento se aplicaron 2 cuestionarios. En los resultados se reflejó en la relación del Nivel de conocimiento sobre el virus del papiloma humano con la actitud preventiva el cual se obtuvo una actitud preventiva media con conocimiento medio en 48.7%. En la dimensión conocimiento de las Generalidades se tiene una actitud preventiva media con conocimiento bajo en 34.2%. En la relación del Nivel de conocimiento en la dimensión conocimiento de la Trasmisión-Factores de Riesgo se tiene una actitud preventiva media con conocimiento medio en 40.2%. En la relación del Nivel de conocimiento en la dimensión conocimiento de los Signos-Síntomas-Diagnóstico se tiene en una actitud preventiva media con conocimiento bajo en 29.1%. En la relación del Nivel de conocimiento en la dimensión conocimiento de las Complicaciones-Tratamiento se tiene una actitud preventiva media con conocimiento medio en 35.9%. se concluye que, si existe una relación estadísticamente significativa con un alfa de 0.000, entre el Nivel de conocimiento sobre el virus del papiloma humano y la actitud preventiva sobre el virus papiloma humano en pacientes mujeres adultas en edad reproductiva que se atienden en el centro de salud Buenos Aires.
