Quality of care in patients of a hospital, category 2 of Lima, 2022

Abstract

For the development of the present investigation, the general objective was to determine the level of quality of care in patients of a hospital, category 2 of Lima, 2022, for which a deductive method was used, a type of applied research with a non-experimental design. of a quantitative approach, using a sample of 80 users in a hospital II-1, who were surveyed regarding the quality of care. The technique used for data collection was the survey and the selected instrument was the modified SERVQUAL scale, with a validity and reliability accepted and standardized by MINSA in Peru. The main results showed that 55% of those surveyed believe that the quality of care is about to improve, 30% that it is in the process, and only 15% found it acceptable. It was concluded that the majority have considered that the levels of quality of care should improve.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de calidad del cuidado en pacientes de un Hospital, categoría 2 de Lima, 2022 para lo cual se utilizó un método deductivo, un tipo de investigación aplicada con un diseño no experimental de enfoque cuantitativo, siendo para ello utilizada una muestra de 80 usuarios en un Hospital II-1, quienes fueron encuestados en torno a la calidad de cuidado. La técnica usada para la recolección de los datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento seleccionado fueron la escala de SERVQUAL modificado, con una validad y fiabilidad aceptada y normalizada por MINSA en el Perú. Los principales resultados arrojaron que un 55% de los encuestados opina que la calidad de cuidado está por mejorar, el 30% que está en proceso y solo un 15% le pareció aceptable. Se llegó a la conclusión de que la mayoría ha considerado que los niveles de la calidad de cuidado deben mejorar.
