Knowledge and practices of adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation in nurses of the urgent and emergency service of a hospital in Cerro de Pasco, 2022

Abstract

This is a quantitative study with a descriptive, correlational design. The population and sample are composed of nurses who work in the emergency and urgent care services. The variable of CPR knowledge will be assessed with a questionnaire, while the variable of CPR practices will be measured with an observation guide. Finally, measures of central tendency and the Student t test will be used for data analysis, while the research background and the state of the art of the study will be taken into account for the interpretation and discussion of the results.

Se trata de un estudio cuantitativo con un diseño descriptivo, correlacional. la población y muestra están compuestas por enfermeros que laboran al servicio de urgencias y emergencias. Para la variable conocimiento de RCP se evaluará con un cuestionario, en tanto, para la variable prácticas de RCP se medirá con una guía de observación. Por último, se emplearán medidas de tendencia central y la prueba t de Student para el análisis de los datos, mientras que los antecedentes de investigación y el estado del arte del estudio se tendrán en cuenta para la interpretación y la discusión de los resultados.
