Risk factors for burnout syndrome in the nursing staff of a hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2020

| dc.description.abstract | Objective: to determine the risk factors for BURNOUT SYNDROME in the nursing staff of a Hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2020. Material and method: the study presents a quantitative approach, descriptive level, prospective cross-sectional and non-experimental design. The type of sample was census where 85 licensed nursing workers were considered. The results found in the study were 63.6% were between 31 and 45 years old, 81.2% were female, 42.2% were single, 34.1% had no children, 60% had been working for less than 10 years, 54.1% worked in hospitalization, 92.8% of the nurses mentioned sleeping less than 8 hours a day, 83.5% had time to share with their family, 65.9% were dissatisfied with their salary but 71.8% were satisfied with their work. The frequency of burnout syndrome in the nursing staff was 69%. It was concluded that more than half of the nursing staff had burnout syndrome. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: determinar los factores de riesgo para SINDROME de BURNOUT en el personal de enfermería de un Hospital de Lima Metropolitana, 2020 Material y método: el estudio presenta un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo, prospectivo de corte transversal y de diseño no experimental. El tipo de muestra fue censal en donde se consideraron 85 trabajadores licenciados en enfermería. Los resultados encontrados en el estudio fueron el 63.6% tuvieron entre 31 a 45 años, el sexo femenino se presentó en 81.2%, el estado civil soltera se presentó en el 42.2%, el 34.1% no tiene hijos, el 60% tienen menos de 10 años laborando, el 54.1% labora en el servicio de hospitalización, el 92.8% de las enfermeras mencionaron dormir menos de 8 horas al día, el 83.5% tuvieron tiempo para compartir con su familia, el 65.9% se encuentran insatisfechas con el salario pero el 71.8% se encuentran satisfechas con el trabajo. la frecuencia del síndrome de burnout en el personal de enfermería fue del 69%. Llegando a la conclusión que más de la mitad del personal de enfermería presentó Síndrome de Burnout. | es_ES |
