Self-care of the arteriovenous fistula in patients with chronic kidney disease in a clinic in Lima Peru 2021

Abstract

Objective: To determine the level of self-care for arteriovenous fistula in patients with chronic kidney disease at a clinic in Lima, Peru, 2021. Material and Methods: Deductive, quantitative, univariate, cross-sectional method with a descriptive design. The population consisted of a total of 30 patients (adults and elderly patients receiving hemodialysis renal replacement therapy from the renal unit) "at a clinic in Lima, Peru"; observation technique and checklist as the instrument; finally, a pilot test was applied, and the results were tabulated using K-R, which was ≥0.71.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel del autocuidado de la fistula arteriovenosa en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en una clínica de Lima Perú, 2021. Material y Métodos: Método deductivo, cuantitativo, univariable, transversal y diseño descriptivo. La población estuvo conformada por el total de 30 pacientes (adultos y adultos mayores que reciben terapia de reemplazo renal de hemodiálisis de la unidad renal) “en una Clínica de Lima Perú”; técnica de observación y como instrumento listo de chequeo; finalmente se aplicó la prueba piloto y tabulación de los resultados mediante K-R es ≥0,71.
