Relationship between knowledge and practice on the kangaroo method of mothers in a NICU in the city of Huancayo, 2021

Abstract

Objective: Identify the relationship between the mother's knowledge and practices about the kangaroo method in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in the city of Huancayo 2021. The methodology is quantitative in approach, type of level applied, non-experimental design , descriptive, cross-sectional correlational. The sample will be the entire population, which is made up of 45 mothers. The instruments that will be applied in the research are a questionnaire on the level of knowledge of the kangaroo mother method with 14 items for the level of knowledge variable and an observation guide on mothers' practices regarding the kangaroo mother method with 10 items for the practices variable. , these instruments will be applied to the 45 mothers. A descriptive and correlational statistical analysis will be applied.

Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre los conocimientos y las prácticas de la madre sobre el método canguro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de un hospital de la ciudad de Huancayo 2021. La metodología es de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de nivel aplicada, diseño no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal. La muestra será la totalidad de la población que lo conforma 45 madres de familia. Los instrumentos que se aplicarán en la investigación son un cuestionario del nivel de conocimiento del método mamá canguro de 14 ítems para la variable nivel de conocimiento y una guía de observación sobre prácticas de las madres sobre el método mamá canguro de 10 ítems para la variable prácticas, estos instrumentos serán aplicados a las 45 madres. Se aplicará un análisis estadístico descriptivo y correlacional.
