Level of knowledge and practice of preventive care in pressure injuries according to nurses of a level IV hospital of EsSalud, Lima Centro - 2022

Abstract

The general objective of the thesis was to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice of preventive care in pressure injuries according to the nurses of a Level IV Hospital of Essalud, Lima Centro - 2022. Materials and methods: type of quantitative research , non-experimental, descriptive correlational methodology, and transectional section. The study was carried out in a level IV hospital of Essalud such as the Almenara Hospital, with a sample population made up of all the nurses who work in services with hospital stays such as Traumatology and Orthopedics, General Surgery and Medicine. The data collection was with the survey technique and the instrument used was the questionnaire. The data processing for the descriptive analysis was using the Excel application and the SPSS statistical software version 26.0. In the case of the inferential analysis, the hypothesis was contrasted with logistic regression to measure the relationship between the two variables under study.

La tesis tuvo el objetivo general, el analizar la relación del nivel de conocimientos con la práctica del cuidado preventivo en las lesiones por presión según las enfermeras de un Hospital Nivel IV de Essalud, Lima Centro - 2022. Materiales y métodos: tipo de investigación cuantitativa, de metodología no experimental, descriptiva correlacional, y corte transeccional. El estudio se llevó a cabo en un hospital nivel IV de Essalud como es el Hospital Almenara, con una población muestral constituida por el total de las enfermeras que laboran en los servicios con estadía hospitalaria como son Traumatología y Ortopedia, Cirugía General y Medicina. La recolección de datos fue con la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento usado fue el cuestionario. El procesamiento de la data para el análisis descriptivo fue usando el aplicativo Excel y el software estadístico SPSS versión 26.0, para el caso del análisis inferencial se realizó la contrastación de la hipótesis con la regresión logística para medir la relación entre las dos variables en estudio
