Knowledge and attitude of the nursing staff in the cleaning and disinfection process of surgical material in the sterilization center of the Hospital de Chancay 2022

Abstract

This academic research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude in nursing staff in the process of cleaning and disinfection of surgical material in the Central Sterilization of the Hospital de Chancay Lima 2023. Materials and methods: A correlational, quantitative, analytical, descriptive and cross-sectional investigation will be carried out in 58 health personnel (36 nursing graduates, 18 nursing technicians, 4 nursing assistants), in which a survey will be carried out and a questionnaire will be applied for the first variable. As an instrument, for the second variable it will be observation and as an instrument an observation guide, which were validated through an expert judgment, also demonstrating reliability through Cronbach's alpha coefficient.

Esta investigación académica tiene por objetivo, determinar relación del conocimiento con la actitud en el personal de enfermería en el proceso de limpieza y desinfección del material quirúrgico en la Central de Esterilización del Hospital de Chancay Lima 2022. Materiales y métodos: Se realizará una investigación correlacional, cuantitativo, analítico, descriptivo y transversal en 58 personales de la salud (36 licenciadas en enfermería, 18 técnicos de enfermería, 4 auxiliares de enfermería), en ellos se realizará una encuesta y se aplicará un cuestionario para la primera variable como instrumento, para la segunda variable será la observación y como instrumento una guía de observación, las cuales se validaron mediante un juicio de expertos demostrándose además confiablidad mediante coeficiente alfa de Crombach
