Effectiveness of nursing interventions to stimulate the attachment of mothers with their newborns

Abstract

Systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of nursing interventions to stimulate attachment in mothers of newborns. Material and Methods: to develop the study, the systematic review design was used, which is based on the GRADE evaluation system, the purpose of which is to evaluate the quality of all the articles chosen from databases such as: PubMed, ScientDirect, Lilacs and Epistemonikos. Results: 40% are randomized controlled trials, 20% are literature reviews, 10% are qualitative-exploratory, 10% are quasi-experimental-posttests, 10% are prospective, and 10% are narrative reviews-meta-analysis. On the other hand, in 90% of the articles it was found that there is effectiveness of nursing interventions to stimulate the attachment of mothers with their newborn children and in 10% no effectiveness was found. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles, in (9/10) it was found that there is effectiveness of nursing interventions to stimulate the attachment of mothers with their newborn children and in (1/10) it was noted that there is no effectiveness in these interventions. Likewise, it was found that the most effective interventions are communication in its various modalities: orientations, calls, interaction (5/10), programs for interaction with the baby, guidance and care (3/10), psychosocial support (2/10) and skin-to-skin contact or kangaroo mother (2/10).

Sistematizar las evidencias halladas sobre la efectividad de las intervenciones de enfermería para estimular el apego en madres de recién nacidos. Material y Métodos: para el desarrollo del estudio se ha empleado el diseño de revisión sistemática que se fundamenta en el sistema de evaluación GRADE, cuya finalidad es evaluar la calidad de todos los artículos elegidos de bases de datos como: PubMed, ScientDirect, Lilacs y Epistemonikos. Resultados: el 40% son ensayos controlados aleatorizados, el 20% de revisión bibliográfica, el 10% cualitativo-exploratorio, el 10% cuasiexperimental-postest, el 10% prospectivo, el 10% de revisión narrativa-metaanálisis. Por otro lado, en el 90% de los artículos se encontró que existe efectividad de las intervenciones de enfermería para estimular el apego de las madres con sus niños recién nacidos y en 10% no se encontró efectividad. Conclusión: De los 10 artículos, en (9/10) se encontró que existe efectividad de las intervenciones de enfermería para estimular el apego de las madres con sus niños recién nacidos y en (1/10) se señaló que no existe efectividad en estas intervenciones. Asimismo, se encontró que las intervenciones con más efectividad son la comunicación en sus diversas modalidades: orientaciones, llamadas, interacción (5/10), los programas para la interacción con el bebé, guía y cuidados (3/10), el apoyo psicosocial (2/10) y el contacto piel con piel o madre canguro (2/10).
