Communication therapeutic and satisfaction of parents of children hospitalized in the pediatric service of a national hospital, Lima, 2023

Abstract

The present investigation entitled "Therapeutic communication and satisfaction of the parents of children hospitalized in the pediatric service of a national hospital, Lima, 2023. Its main objective is to establish the relationship between both variables in the parents of children hospitalized in the Pediatric Service of a National Hospital of Lima, from the methodological point of view the study will have a quantitative approach, cross-sectional under a non-experimental design, of a descriptive correlational type because it seeks the cause-and-effect relationship between the study variables in the parents of hospitalized children. The technique used for the execution of the study will be the interview and the instruments for the nursing therapeutic communication variable will be applied the SERVQUAL model questionnaire prepared by Clara Valverde (2014) and for the parental satisfaction variable the questionnaire that will be applied will be the SERVQUAL model (2013) created by Parasuraman. Regarding reliability, the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient test will be used; of the first variable therapeutic communication of the nurse-parents (α = 0.827) and of the second variable in the parents of hospitalized children (α = 0.825).

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la comunicación terapéutica y la satisfacción de los padres de niños hospitalizados en el Servicio de Pediatría de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2023. Material y método: La investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, de corte trasversal bajo un diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo correlacional , la población estará conformada por 90 padres de niños hospitalizados en el Servicio de Pediatría de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, La técnica empleada para la ejecución del estudio será la entrevista y los instrumentos para las variables comunicación terapéutica y satisfacción de los padres se aplicará el cuestionario de modelo SERVQUAL, La validación de los instrumentos será desarrollada mediante la apreciación de juicios de expertos, La confiabilidad de los instrumentos de la investigación se realizará mediante la aplicación de una prueba piloto y será calculada por el Coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach, Posterior a la administración del instrumento los datos serán procesados, organizados, codificados y luego ingresados a una hoja de cálculo de Microsoft Excel 2019 y para realizar el análisis y presentación los resultados en tablas y/o figuras, así como la Prueba de Correlación de Spearman (Rho) se empleará el Programa Estadístico SPSS versión 26.0.
