Level of knowledge of self-care of patients with digestive ostomies general surgery service of a level III hospital in Lima January-June 2021

Abstract

The present research work entitled: “Level of knowledge of self-care of the patient with a digestive ostomy in the General Surgery service of a National Hospital level III of Lima January – June 2021, Its general objective is: Determine the level of knowledge of self-care of the patient with a digestive ostomy general surgery service of a national level III Hospital in Lima January - June 2021. Study design: The research has a quantitative approach, the design methodological is descriptive cross section. . The population will be made up of 96 hospitalized patients from the general surgery service of a level III National Hospital in Lima during the months of January to June 2021, considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The questionnaire will be used as an instrument, which consists of two parts, in the first part sociodemographic data will be collected and the second part is based on questions about the level of knowledge of the ostomized patient, which consists of 22 questions covering the dimensions established in the present study. For the reliability of the instrument, a pilot test will be applied with 30 data collection instruments.

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado: “Nivel de conocimiento del autocuidado del paciente con ostomía digestiva en el servicio de Cirugía General de un Hospital Nacional nivel III de Lima Enero – Junio del 2021, Tiene como objetivo general: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento del autocuidado del paciente con ostomía digestiva servicio de cirugía general de un Hospital nacional nivel III de Lima Enero – Junio del 2021. Diseño de estudio: La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico es descriptivo de corte transversal. . La población estará conformada por 96 pacientes hospitalizados del servicio de cirugía general de un Hospital Nacional nivel III de Lima los meses de Enero a Junio del 2021, considerando los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Se utilizara como instrumento el cuestionario, que consta en dos partes, en la primera parte se recolectará los datos sociodemográficos y la segunda parte está basada en preguntas sobre el nivel de conocimiento del paciente ostomizado, que consta de 22 preguntas abarcando las dimensiones establecidas en el presente estudio. Para la confiabilidad del instrumento se aplicará una prueba piloto con 30 instrumentos de recolección de datos
