Family functionality in older adults and its relationship with depression in users who attend the consultation of a health establishment, Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: "to determine the relationship between family functionality in older adults and depression and in health facility, Lima 2023", The population will be made up of older adults from a DIRIS Lima Sur health facility, during the months of October to November 2023. Said establishment has a program for the elderly, with 80 registered to date, which is the total population. Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. The design will be observational, descriptive, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional. To evaluate the variable, to evaluate the family functionality variable, the family APGAR questionnaire will be used and for the depression variable the Zung self-assessment scale, both with acceptable values of reliability and validity. The technique to collect data will be surveys. Statistical processing and data analysis: a descriptive analysis will be carried out, it will be increased in frequency tables, the inferential analysis will be carried out using parametric (Pearson's Correlation) or non-parametric (Chi-square) tests.

Esta presente investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre funcionalidad familiar en adultos mayores y la depresión de un establecimiento de salud, Lima 2023”, La población estará conformada por los adultos mayores de un establecimiento de salud de la DIRIS Lima Sur, durante los meses de octubre a noviembre del 2023. Dicho establecimiento cuenta con programa del adulto mayor, contando a la fecha de 80 inscritos, siendo ellos la población total. Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será básico. Diseño será observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, prospectivo y transversal. Para evaluar la variable funcionalidad familiar se utilizará el cuestionario APGAR familiar y para la variable depresión la escala de autoevaluación de Zung, ambos con valores de confiabilidad y validez aceptables. La técnica para recolectar datos serán las encuestas. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: se procederá con un análisis descriptivo, expresado en tablas de frecuencias, el análisis inferencial se ejecutará mediante pruebas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Chi cuadrado)
