Skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding in mothers of newborns of the immediate care service of the Huaycán hospital, 2024

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding among mothers of newborns in the immediate care unit of Huaycán Hospital, 2023. Methodology: The study follows a hypothetical-deductive approach with a quantitative focus. It is an applied type of research with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The level of research is descriptive-correlational. The population consists of 290 mothers of newborns, and the sample will include 168 mothers of newborns. Techniques and Instruments for Data Collection: The variables will be measured as follows: Variable 1 (V1): Assessed using a questionnaire. Variable 2 (V2): Assessed using an observation guide.

TÉCNICA e INSTRUMENTO PARA LA RECOLECCIÓN DE DATOS: las variables serán medidas V1 por un cuestionario, V2 por una guía de observación.
