Level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and the practice of mothers of the postpartum service of the hospital II EsSalud Huanuco - 2023

Abstract

Breastfeeding is the ideal food for human beings. In recent years, the habit of breastfeeding children has been lost, due to this, it was decided to carry out the investigation. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding is related to the mother practice. Methodology: a study with a quantitative, applied, and non-experimental approach of correlational scope, with a population of 260 postpartum mothers who are hospitalized in the service and a probabilistic sample of 155, to whom a questionnaire was applied to measure their knowledge. on lactation and an observation guide to measure the practice, valid instruments and reliability in the Peruvian state, the information will be analyzed according to non-parametric descriptive and inferential statistics, to then apply Spearman's Rho to test the hypotheses, the results will be presented in double entry tables where the variables and their dimensions can be appreciated; throughout the investigation, proper ethical conduct will be followed.

La lactancia materna es el alimento ideal para el ser humano en los últimos años se ha perdido la costumbre de amamantar a los hijos, debido a esto se decide realizar la investigación su Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre lactancia materna exclusiva se relaciona con la práctica de madres. Metodología: un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, aplicada, y no experimental de alcance correlacional, con una población de 260 madres puérperas que se encuentran hospitalizadas en el servicio y una muestra probabilística de 155, a las que se les aplicara un cuestionario para medir su conocimiento sobre la lactancia y una guía de observación para medir la práctica, instrumentos válidos y confiabilidad en el estado peruano, la información se analizara de acuerdo a la estadística descriptiva e inferencial no paramétrica, para luego aplicar el Rho de Spearman para la contrastación de las hipótesis, los resultados se presentaran en tablas de doble entrada donde se pueda apreciar las variables y sus dimensiones; durante toda la investigación se cumplirá con una conducta ética adecuada
