Quality of nursing care and level of satisfaction of parents in the pediatric service of a hospital of the Ministry of Health of Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of parents in the Pediatric Service of a Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Lima, 2023. Methods: The study will use the hypothetical method -deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational. The population and sample will be made up of 90 parents of hospitalized children, the sampling being non-probabilistic for convenience. For the processing and analysis of the survey data, first the collected information will be ordered, then the coding will be carried out, once the data is collected, the data will be organized according to their study variables, the data will be processed using the Microsoft Excel program and the SPSS statistical software to generate tables and/or graphs by dimensions and indicators of the study of the first variable quality of nursing care and the second variable satisfaction of parents; Likewise, the Spearman Correlation Test (Rho) will be used to determine the relationship between the variables.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de los padres de familia en el Servicio de Pediatría de un Hospital del Ministerio de Salud de Lima, 2023. Métodos: El estudio se utilizará el método hipotético‐deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, descriptivo y correlacional. La población y muestra estará conformada por 90 padres de familia de niños hospitalizados, siendo el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para el procesamiento y análisis de los datos de la encuesta, primero se ordenará la información recolectada, luego se llevará a cabo la codificación, una vez recolectados los datos se organizará los datos de acuerdo a sus variables de estudio, los datos se procesarán utilizando el programa Microsoft Excel y el software estadístico SPSS para generar tablas y/o gráficos por dimensiones e indicadores del estudio de la primera variable calidad de atención de enfermería y de la segunda variable satisfacción de los padres de familia; asimismo, se usará la Prueba de Correlación de Spearman (Rho), para determinar la relación entre las variables
