Occupational risk factors in the personnel working in the emergency clinical laboratory of a Lima hospital from October - December 2017

Abstract

The objective was to determine the occupational risk factors for the staff working in the clinical laboratory of a hospital in Lima, studying the risks frequently encountered in the workplace. This study was conducted with part of the staff using questionnaires and observational forms validated by expert judgment, following a prospective descriptive study design. Our research focused on the existing occupational risks in various hospitals and findings related to our investigation. We found that in the workplace, we are governed by biological, chemical, and physical risks, all of which pose a high danger to the healthcare professional's contact. The goal of this research is to raise awareness about the potential risks to which we are exposed and to reduce the probability of accidents through supervision, better guidelines, training, and updates in our professional field.

El objetivo fue determinar los factores de riesgo ocupacionales en el personal que labora en laboratorio clínico de un hospital de lima estudiar los riesgos que frecuentemente pasa en el ámbito laboral este estudio se realizó con parte del personal utilizando cuestionarios y ficha observacionales validadas por juicio de expertos contando con estudio descriptivos prospectivos se utilizó y guio nuestra investigación en cuanto a los riesgos ocupacionales existentes en diversos nosocomios intrahospitalarios y hallazgos en cuanto a nuestra investigación damos cuenta que en el ámbito laboral nos regimos por riesgos biológicos químicos y físicos todos con alto peligro al contacto del profesional de salud con esta investigación es tomar consciencia los riesgos posibles a que estamos expuestos y disminuir la probalidad de accidentes con supervisiones ,mejores guías ,capacitaciones .y actualizaciones en nuestro ámbito como profesionales .
