Quality of nursing care and its relationship with the satisfaction of cancer patients in the intensive care unit of the emergency Hospital Villa El Salvador Lima 2022

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of cancer patients in the Intensive Care Unit of the Villa El Salvador Lima Emergency Hospital, 2022. Material and method: Quantitative approach, prospective and cross-sectional deductive method. The population will be made up of 274 cancer patients from the Intensive Care Unit of the Villa El Salvador Lima Emergency Hospital, 2022, from which a sample of 80 patients was obtained. The data collection technique will be the survey and the instrument a questionnaire, containing closed and open questions. Content validity will be assessed by expert judgment. Univariate statistical analysis will be applied to find percentages in qualitative variables and measures of central tendency for quantitative variables. For bivariate analysis, the chi-square test will be applied to measure the association between qualitative variables, to determine the mean between the categories of a qualitative variable. and a quantitative variable, the independent t-test and the one-way analysis of variance will be applied, with statistical significance p<0.05.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación de la calidad del cuidado de enfermería con la satisfacción de pacientes oncológicos en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital de Emergencia Villa El Salvador Lima, 2022. Material y método: Enfoque cuantitativo, método deductivo de corte trasversal y prospectivo. La población estará conformada por 274 pacientes oncológicos de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital de Emergencia Villa El Salvador Lima, 2022, de donde se obtuvo una muestra de 80 pacientes. La Técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario, conteniendo preguntas cerradas y abiertas. La validez de contenido será evaluada por juicios de expertos. Se aplicará análisis estadístico univariado para hallar porcentajes en variables cualitativas y medidas de tendencia central para variables cuantitativas, para el análisis bivariado se aplicará la prueba chi cuadrado para medir la asociación entre las variables cualitativas, para determinar la media entre las categorías de una variable cualitativa y una variable cuantitativa se aplicará la prueba t independiente y el análisis de varianza de una vía, con significancia estadística p<0,05
