Quality of nursing care and its relationship with mothers' satisfaction in growth and development monitoring of children under three years at Cayetano Heredia Hospital, Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of mothers in the control of growth and development in children under three years of age at the Hospital Cayetano Heredia Lima 2023. Methodology: A quantitative, applied study approach was developed. non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional; The study has a non-probabilistic sampling, therefore, we worked with 82 mothers who attend the CRED and Children's Immunizations clinic in children under three years of age at the Cayetano Heredia Lima Hospital, selected at random. Results. There is the quality of nursing care with the satisfaction of mothers in the control of growth and development in children under three years of age, where there is regular quality of care with regular satisfaction at 51.2%. There is the quality of nursing care in its technical dimension with the satisfaction of mothers in the control of growth and development in children under three years of age, where there is regular quality of care with regular satisfaction in 62.2%. There is the quality of nursing care in its human dimension with the satisfaction of mothers in the control of growth and development in children under three years of age, where there is regular quality of care with regular satisfaction at 58.5%. There is the quality of nursing care in its environmental dimension with the satisfaction of mothers in the control of growth and development in children under three years of age, where there is regular quality of care with regular satisfaction in 65.9%.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación de la calidad de atención de enfermería con la satisfacción de las madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de tres años en el Hospital Cayetano Heredia Lima 2023. Metodología: Se desarrolló enfoque de estudio cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional, de corte transversal; El estudio tiene un muestreo no probabilístico, por tanto, se trabajaron con 82 madres que acuden al consultorio de CRED e Inmunizaciones del Niños y niñas en niños menores de tres años en el Hospital Cayetano Heredia Lima, seleccionados al azar. Resultados. Se tiene la calidad de atención de enfermería con la satisfacción de las madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de tres años, donde hay regular calidad de atención con regular satisfacción en 51.2%. Se tiene la calidad de atención de enfermería en su dimensión técnica con la satisfacción de las madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de tres años, hay regular calidad de atención con regular satisfacción en 62.2%. Se tiene la calidad de atención de enfermería en su dimensión humana con la satisfacción de las madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de tres años, donde hay regular calidad de atención con regular satisfacción en 58.5%. La calidad de atención de enfermería en dimensión entorno con satisfacción de madres en el control de crecimiento y desarrollo en niños menores de tres años, hay regular calidad de atención con regular satisfacción 65.9%.
