Knowledge and practices on preventive measures against COVID-19 in vendors of the Real Plaza Vitarte market, 2022

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices on preventive measures against covid-19 in vendors of thereal market plaza vitarte (apromec), 2022. Materials and methods: The present study had a quantitative approach, its methodological design is hypothetical-deductive. The population is made up of 100, with a sample of 82 sellers. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments used were the Knowledge and practices questionnaires on preventive measures against Covid-19. Results: Regarding the general hypothesis, it can be observed that there is a relationship between knowledge and practices on preventive measures against COVID-19 (p<0.05). According to the specific hypotheses, it can be observed that there is a relationship knowledge according to its dimensions of etiology, clinical picture and preventive measures and protection of covid-19 with practices on preventive measures with an alpha less than 0.005; it is worth highlighting that wherethere is no relationship knowledge according to its dimension of means of transmission and risk group of covid-19 with practices on preventive measuressinceit is greater than 0.005. Conclusions: A relationship was found between the main variables knowledge and practices through the Wilcoxon analysis, resulting in 0.000, indicating that it is less than alpha of 0.005. In most of its dimensions there is a relationship. In their first knowledge variable, their dimensions managed to obtain a high score. Consequently, the second practical variable was able to obtain 79% of sellers have adequate practices.

Objetivo: El objetivo de la presente investigación fue Determinar la relación entre los conocimientos y las prácticas sobre las medidas preventivas frente al covid-19 en vendedores del mercado real plaza vitarte,2022. Materiales y métodos: El presente estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, su diseño metodológico es hipotético-deductivo. La población está conformada de 100, con una muestra de 82 vendedores. La técnica de recolección de datos es la encuesta y los instrumentos empleados fueron los cuestionarios de Conocimiento y prácticas sobre las medidas preventivas frente al Covid-19. Resultados: En cuanto a la hipótesis general, se observa que existe relación entre conocimientos y prácticas sobre medidas preventivas frente al COVID-19 (p<0,05). Según las hipótesis específicas, se observa que existe una relación conocimiento según sus dimensiones de etiología, cuadro clínico y medidas preventivas y protección del covid-19 con las practicas sobre las medidas preventivas con un alfa menor de 0,005; cabe resaltar que donde no hay una relación conocimiento según su dimensión de medios de transmisión y grupo de riesgo del covid-19 con las practicas sobre las medidas preventivas ya que es mayor al 0,005. Conclusiones: Se encontró relación entre las variables principales conocimientos y prácticas mediante el análisis de wilcoxon, con resultado 0.000, indicando que es menor al alfa de 0.005. En la mayoría de sus dimensiones existe relación. En su primera variable conocimiento sus dimensiones lograron obtener un puntaje alto. En consiguiente a ello la segunda Variable práctica logro obtener un 79% de vendedores tienen prácticas adecuadas.
