Level of knowledge of the steam autoclave sterilization process of nursing staff in essalud de ayacucho hospital, peru 2021

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the level of knowledge regarding the steam autoclave sterilization process among nursing staff in the sterilization unit of a Es Salud hospital in Ayacucho, Peru.

Regarding the methodology, this study is presented as applied research, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, and descriptive nature. It was developed with a sample of 17 nursing professionals and 6 nursing technicians. A survey, supported by a questionnaire, will be used for data collection. The data will be tabulated in Excel databases for statistical processing, and the results will be presented in tables and figures with their respective statistics.

El presente trabajo de investigación se hizo con la finalidad de determinar el nivel de conocimiento del proceso de esterilización en autoclave a vapor del personal de enfermería en la central de esterilización de un Hospital de Es salud de Ayacucho - Perú. Respecto a la metodología, este estudio se presenta como una investigación aplicada, con enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y descriptivo desarrollado en una muestra de 17 Enfermería y 6 técnicos de enfermería. Se empleará la encuesta con apoyo del cuestionario para la recolección de información. Los datos serán tabulados en bases de datos de Excel para su procesamiento estadístico, siendo así que, los resultados serán mostrados en tablas y figuras con sus respectivas estadísticas.
