Lifestyles and their relationship with the nutritional status of adult’s seniors at the María Auxiliadora Hospital, Lima 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research project will be to study lifestyles and their relationship with the nutritional status of older adults at María Auxiliadora Hospital in Lima.

This study will address the general research question: What is the relationship between lifestyles and the nutritional status of older adults at María Auxiliadora Hospital, Lima, 2022? Additionally, specific questions will be posed for each dimension of lifestyles.

As part of the methodology, a hypothetical-deductive method will be employed, with a quantitative approach. The type of research will be applied, and the design will be descriptive, cross-sectional, and prospective, as it will describe a study and the relationship between two variables.

El presente proyecto de investigación tendrá por objetivo investigar los Estilos de vida y su relación con el estado nutricional de los adultos mayores en el hospital Maria Auxiliadora en Lima. Por ello en la presente investigación plantearemos como problema general: ¿Qué relación existe entre los estilos de vida y el estado nutricional de los adultos mayores en el Hospital Maria Auxiliadora, Lima 2022? Así como también problemas específicos por cada una de las dimensiones de los estilos de vida. Como parte de la metodología se seguirá un método hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, donde el tipo de investigación será aplicada y el diseño será descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo, dado que describirá un estudio y la relación de dos variables.
