Work stress and quality of life in the nursing staff of the sterilization center of the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the South, 2022

Abstract

The research, titled work stress and quality of life, was carried out in the nursing care staff of the central sterilization service of the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the South, Arequipa 2022, Methodology and methods: The present research is non-experimental, with a focus of a simple descriptive correlational type, the same one that will be applied only once; The population was made up of 80 nursing care personnel from the central sterilization service of the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the South, located in the province of Arequipa, Cercado district, providing 12-hour care. The sample is 80 nurses and nursing technicians, it is non-probabilistic, the same ones who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. For data collection, the technique used was the work stress survey and questionnaire, which consists of 19 items, prepared by the authors of the research, which will be applied to all parameters. The type of scale will be 76 in accordance with the Likert scale (Always, almost always, sometimes and never) and. WHOQOL-BREF (WHO, 1996) with response options for each item that evaluates the quality of life dimensions. The study was complemented with contributions from previous research at an international, national and local level.

La investigación, titulado estrés laboral y la calidad de vida se ejecutó en el personal asistencial de enfermería del servicio de central de esterilización del Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas del Sur, Arequipa 2022, Metodología y métodos: La presente investigación es no experimental, con enfoque de tipo descriptivo simple correlacional el mismo que se aplicara en una sola vez; la población estuvo conformada por 80 personal asistencial de enfermería del servicio de central de esterilización del Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas del Sur, ubicación en la provincia de Arequipa distrito del Cercado brindando una atención las 12 horas. La muestra es de 80 enfermeras y técnicos de enfermería, es no probabilístico los mismos que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica utilizada es la encuesta y cuestionario de estrés laboral, que consiste en 19 ítems, elaborado por autores de la investigación, el cual se aplicará en todos los parámetros el tipo de escala será 76 en concordancia con la escala de Likert (Siempre, casi siempre, a veces y nunca) y. WHOQOL-BREF (WHO, 1996) con opciones de respuesta para cada item que evalúa las dimensiones sobre calidad de vida. Se complementó el estudio con aportes de investigaciones anteriores de nivel internacional, nacional y local.
