Family environment and its relationship with the beginning of sexual relationships in the 4th and 5th grade students of the secondary level of the educational Institution Nº 1219 José Carlos Mariátegui, Santa Anita - 2018

Abstract

Materials and methods: The study approach was quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational. The sample consisted of 108 students based on pre-established inclusion and exclusion criteria, who were administered the Andrade Family Environment Scale. Results: Regarding the initiation of sexual relations among 4th and 5th-grade students of the I.E. Nº 1219 José Carlos Mariátegui, it was found that 52.8% (57) had not initiated sexual relations, while 47.2% (51) had. Regarding the mother's family environment, it was found that 54.2% (58) had a good family environment, while 45.8% (49) had a poor environment. Regarding the father's family environment, it was found that 81.9% (77) had a poor family environment, while 18.1% (17) had a good family environment. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the initiation of sexual relations and the family environment concerning the mother, among 4th and 5th-grade students of the I.E. Nº 1219 José Carlos Mariátegui.

Material y método: El enfoque del estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, de corte transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 108 alumnos en base a criterios de inclusión y exclusión preestablecidos, a quienes se les aplicó el instrumento escala de ambiente familiar de Andrade. Resultados: En relación con el inicio de relaciones sexuales de los alumnos del 4to y 5to grado de secundaria de la I.E Nº 1219 José Carlos Mariátegui, se encontró que el 52.8% (57) no iniciaron relaciones sexuales y el 47.2% (51), por otro lado, si iniciaron relaciones sexuales. Respecto al ambiente familiar de la madre se encontró que el 54.2% (58) presentaron un ambiente familiar bueno y el 45.8% (49) deficiente y con referencia al ambiente familiar del padre, se encontró que el 81.9% (77) presentaron un deficiente ambiente familiar y el 18.1% (17) buen ambiente familiar. Conclusión: Existe relación entre el inicio de las relaciones sexuales y el ambiente familiar en relación a la madre, de alumnos del 4to y 5to grado de secundaria de la I.E Nº 1219 José Carlos Mariátegui
