Self-care ability of hemodialysis patients at Renal Global Clinic, Lima 2021

Abstract

The study “Self-care capacity of hemodialysis patients treated at the Global Renal Clinic, Lima 2021” developed in Lima, had the objective of determining the self-care capacity of hemodialysis patients at the Global Renal Clinic, Lima 2021. The design was not experimental, and transversal. The population will be made up of hemodialysis patients, which are 110 patients. The type of sampling is simple random probabilistic. The technique to be used in field work will be the survey, with which a significant amount of data will be obtained in an optimal and efficient way. To determine the self-care capacity of hemodialysis patients at the Global Renal Clinic, Lima 2021, the Self-Care Agency Scale (A.S.A) instrument will be used, which was developed based on the widely used Self-Care Deficit Theory, the ASA includes 24 items answered on a 5-alternative Likert scale ranging from 1 (totally disagree) to 5 (totally agree). Data collection would be carried out with the authorization of the head of the service and the informed consent of the participants.

El estudio “Capacidad de autocuidados de pacientes en hemodiálisis atendidos en la clínica renal global, Lima 2021” desarrollado en Lima, tuvo como objetivo determinar la capacidad de autocuidados de los pacientes en hemodiálisis de la Clínica Renal Global, Lima 2021. El diseño fue no experimental, y transversal. La población estará conformada por los pacientes en hemodiálisis que son 110 pacientes. El tipo de muestreo es probabilístico aleatorio simple. La técnica a utilizarse en el trabajo de campo será la encuesta, con la cual se obtendrá una cantidad importante de datos de forma óptima y eficaz. Para determinar la capacidad de autocuidados de los pacientes en hemodiálisis de la Clínica Renal Global, Lima 2021, se utilizará el instrumento Escala de Agencia de Autocuidado (A.S.A) que fue desarrollado en base a la Teoría del Déficit de Autocuidado ampliamente utilizada, el ASA comprende 24 ítems respondidos en una escala Likert de 5 alternativas que varía de 1 (totalmente en desacuerdo) a 5 (totalmente de acuerdo). La recolección de datos se tomaría con la autorización del jefe del servicio y el consentimiento informado de los participantes.
