Nursing care for the prevention of pressure ulcers in patients of the II ILO hospital – ESSALUD, 2021

Abstract

Objective: To describe the care of nursing staff in the prevention of pressure ulcers in hospitalized patients at Hospital II Ilo Essalud. Material and method: This project is a quantitative, descriptive research, which will allow us to describe a situation of the group under study, without manipulating any variable. It will also be cross-sectional since the information will be obtained at a specific time and moment. CONCLUSIONS. Pressure ulcers in the hospital environment are a serious health problem for which the licensed nurse has a great responsibility, within her autonomous role, since it is estimated that 51.6% occur within the hospital itself and 95% are preventable.

"Objetivo: Describir los cuidados del personal de enfermería en la prevención de las ulceras por presión en pacientes hospitalizados del Hospital II Ilo Essalud. Material y método: Este Proyecto es una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo, permitirá describir una situación del grupo en estudio, así mismo sin manipular variable alguna. Asimismo, será de corte transversal ya que la información se obtendrá será en un momento y tiempo específico. CONCLUSIONES. Las ulceras por presión en el medio hospitalario son un grave problema sanitario donde la Licenciada en enfermería tiene una gran responsabilidad, dentro de su rol autónomo, ya que se estima que un 51,6% se producen dentro del propio hospital y un 95% son evitables."
