Level of knowledge and application of the safe surgery list in the nursing staff of the surgical center of Hospital II Vitarte Essalud, 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research is to: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of the safe surgery checklist in the nursing staff of the surgical center of Hospital II Vitarte- EsSalud, 2022. The methodology used is deductive, with a quantitative, descriptive, experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional approach; The sample will consist of 19 nurses from the surgical area. The instruments to be used are the knowledge questionnaire on the safe surgery checklist and the observation guide for application of the checklist, which have been validated and have a high level of reliability, of α = 0.869, respectively. For the interpretation and analysis of data, the Excel and SPSS programs will be used, with which statistical tables and graphs will be elaborated. Likewise, for the contrasting of the hypothesis, the statistical estimation of the Spearman Test will be used, with a confidence level of 95%, an error of 5%, which will be reflected in the contingency table of both variables.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y la aplicación de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura en el personal de enfermería de centro quirúrgico del hospital II vitarte- Essalud, 2022. La metodología que se utilizara es deductiva, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, de diseño experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 19 enfermeras del área quirúrgica. Los instrumentos a utilizar son el cuestionario del conocimiento sobre la lista de verificación de cirugía segura y la guía de observación de aplicación de la lista de verificación; los cuales han sido validados y tiene un alto nivel de confiabilidad, de α = 0.869, respectivamente. Para la interpretación y análisis de datos se usará los programas de Excel y SPSS, con los cuales se elaborarán tablas y gráficos estadísticos. Asimismo, para la contrastación de la hipótesis se usará la estimación estadística de la Prueba de Spearman, con un nivel de confianza del 95%, un error del 5%, el cual será plasmado en la tabla de contingencia de ambas variables.
