Occupational risk in the nursing staff of the central sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Essalud hospital, Chiclayo – 2021

Abstract

The purpose of this research study is to determine the level of occupational risk in the nursing staff who work in the Central Sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Hospital, Essalud, Chiclayo 2021. This research will be applicative, quantitative, with a descriptive and cross-sectional method; with a population and census sample of 28 people, who are part of the nursing staff (technicians and nurses) of the Central Sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Hospital, Essalud. The survey will be used as a technique; In addition, we will use a questionnaire whose answers are given dichotomously, which presents a modified Likert-type scale, which will be worked on after informed consent. To measure the level of occupational risk in nursing staff, the questionnaire created and validated by researchers Escobar Gonzales, Dania and Vargas Vargas, Rebeca will be used; instrument composed of 33 items in five dimensions, biological, chemical, physical, psychosocial, and ergonomic risk. This research has a high reliability on the Kunder Richardson rating scale of 0.816. The results will be studied and analyzed statistically and presented in a didactic manner using tables or figures.

El presente estudio de investigación, tiene como finalidad determinar el nivel de riesgo ocupacional en el personal de enfermería que labora en el servicio de Central de Esterilización del Hospital Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo, Essalud, Chiclayo 2021. Dicha investigación será aplicativa, de tipo cuantitativo, con método descriptivo y de corte transversal; con una población y muestra censal de 28 personas, las cuales son parte del personal de enfermería (técnicos y enfermeras) del servicio de Central de Esterilización del Hospital Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo, Essalud. Se usará como técnica, la encuesta; además, emplearemos un cuestionario cuyas respuestas están dadas de manera dicotómica, la cual presenta una escala tipo Likert modificada, que será trabajado después del consentimiento informado. Para medir el nivel de riesgo ocupacional en el personal de enfermería se utilizará el cuestionario creado y validado por las investigadoras Escobar Gonzales, Dania y Vargas Vargas, Rebeca; instrumento compuesto por 33 ítems en cinco dimensiones, riesgo biológico, químico, físico, psicosocial, y ergonómico. Dicha investigación tiene una confiabilidad elevada en la escala de valoración de Kunder Richardson de 0,816. Los resultados serán estudiados y analizados de manera estadística y presentados de manera didáctica utilizando tablas o figuras.
