Publicación Acceso abierto Aplicación de mentefactos conceptuales para desarrollar aprendizaje significativo de conceptos sociales en estudiantes de grado noveno, Colombia – 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-29) Avila Martínez, Rosa Antonia; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe research sought for determining what extent the application of conceptual facts develops meaningful learning of social concepts in ninth grade students of the I.E. Pio Alberto Ferro Peña 2020. It is a quantitative, applied research, with an experimental design and a quasi-experimental level. I worked with a population of 500 students, corresponding to the secondary section of the I.E. mentioned and with a sample of 80 students. Information was collected through two questionnaires; on the independent variable and the dependent variable, respectively; both applied as pretest and posttest, the intervention to the control group was 24 sessions. Reliability was determined through Cronbach's alpha, with a value of 0.825. The validation of the instruments was carried out through the judgment of experts. Statistically, through the Mann Whitney U test at a significance level of 0.05, it was found that the application of “mentefactos conceptuales“ influences the development of meaningful learning of social concepts in the population under study.
