Publicación Acceso abierto Adaptación escolar mediante estrategias de articulación vinculadas a las transiciones armónicas en la I.E. Guillermo Valencia de Cali, 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-07-02) Gómez Diaz, Liliana; Apaza Cruz, Carmen RocioOne of the constant concerns of those who are part of the public education system is the access, retention and successful continuity of children from early years. Reason why it has been recognized that harmonic transitions play an important role in the assurance of their social, psychological and biological stability, essential factors in the teaching and learning processes, both at the initial level and form the following academic degrees. Based on this recognition, it is intended to determine how the application of articulation strategies linked to harmonic transitions improves school adaptation in children passing from early childhood to first grade, at Guillermo Valencia school in Cali, in 2019. Therefore, an applied type research was carried out, whose quantitative approach, presented an experimental design, of quasi experimental level with pre-test and post-test in intact groups, with census sample. As a result, it was established that articulations strategies joined harmonic transitions impact positively scholar adaptation in biological, psychological and social aspects.Publicación Acceso abierto Estudio comparativo del logro académico en español en estudiantes de sexto de un colegio de jornada única escolar y de jornada ordinaria de Bucaramanga, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-29) Silva Cocunubo, Rafael Humberto; Apaza Cruz, Carmen RocioEducation for humanity in general in the present is one of the fundamental activities for the development of societies that is why governments and institutions make their best efforts to offer the fundamental elements to those who belong to the educational system, for that reason in Colombia has been implementing the Single School Day. It is also important to recognize that reading and writing a language, in this case Spanish, are the driving axis of learning. The thesis aims to determine the difference in the academic achievement of Spanish between sixth-grade students from a single-day school and an ordinary-day school in Bucaramanga, 2018. The research is with a quantitative approach, of a basic type, with a comparative descriptive level and non-experimental design, with a population of 140 sixth grade students from two high school educational institutions using a census sample. The data collection technique is the survey and two questionnaires designed by the researcher and validated by experts were used as an instrument. The research allowed to conclude that if there is a significant difference between the academic achievements of Spanish of the sixth-year students of a school with a single school day and one with an ordinary school day in Bucaramanga 2018, evidencing in the academic achievement of Spanish that the average of ranges is 83.95% in ordinary day students compared to 57.05% in single day school.Publicación Acceso abierto Programa de convivencia escolar, basado en inteligencia emocional, para desarrollar las habilidades blandas, en estudiantes de educación básica secundaria, Ibagué 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-11) Aldana Sánchez, Jorge Eliecer; Apaza Cruz, Carmen RocioThis research has as a fundamental objective, the application of a school coexistence program, based on emotional intelligence, to develop soft skills, in secondary school students, from Ibagué, Colombia, in 2018. Optimizing their selfregulation skills, abilities social and conflict resolution, to consolidate the processes of school coexistence. Based on the virtual tool of the Moodle e-learning platform, under the parameters and intervention of the emotional intelligence program, proposed by Daniel Goleman, Salovey and Mayer, to consolidate, reinforce and solve the problems that are manifested during school life. The study is framed in a type of applied or practical research, with an experimental quantitative approach, which is developed from a quasi-experimental design, with two intact groups and pretest-posttest tests with a control group, of a Likert scale instrument, which was subject to content validity and reliability. It is based on a survey of 712 students, from the Santiago Vila Escobar educational institution, facilitating the reading of educational context, of the most generalized circumstances, situations, events or institutional coexistence problems. The population was conformed by 29898 students of the basic secondary, of official schools. The sample of intentional type, was conformed by 534 students of four educational institutions of the city. For the statistical analysis, the STATS 2.0, Epi info and the G - power and SPSS 25 statistical software were used to perform a statistic, descriptive, inferential, contrast, correlation and association of the data. The results were, a statistical power, (1-β err prob) = 0.951, reflecting a suitable sample, a high internal reliability of 0.934 input and 0.864 output, according to Cronbach's alpha. Also, the Shapiro-Willk test was statistically used, determining a normality test with a lower p = value (p <0.05), for the variables soft skills, self-regulation, social skills and conflict resolution, with a reliability of 95 %, approached from a non-parametric approach. However, the changes and dynamics of perception in the students were contrasted, the Mann Whitney U. test was conducted, yielding the following results: Self-control p = 0.009; Resilience p = 0.001; Leadership; p = 0.002; Assertiveness; p = 0.021; Teamwork p = 0; Empathy; p = 0.032; Mediation; p = 0; Reconciliation p = 0.032), recording that after the intervention with the coexistence program, all the variables have higher differences and magnitudes, verifying that there was significant progress in the soft skills of the experimental group. For this reason, it can be concluded that significant relationships between variables and dimensions were found, since they have a correlation in asymptonic (bilateral) significance, which determines the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, confirming that the teaching of soft skills, with a program supported by emotional intelligence, has a direct impact on students' school life.
