Publicación Acceso abierto Clima organizacional y satisfacción laboral del personal de enfermería del servicio de central de esterilización del Hospital Santa Rosa,Lima-2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-11) Pérez Morales, Yolanda Alejandrina; Zafra Trujillo, Emilia Clara; Matta Solis, Hernán HugoObjective: To determine the relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction of the nursing staff of the Sterilization Center of Santa Rosa Hospital, Lima-2017. Material and method: Quantitative approach, not experimental. Correlational - descriptive design. The sample consisted of 29 workers from the sterilization center. The instruments used were the OPS Organizational Climate Questionnaire and the Labor Satisfaction Questionnaire (SL-SPC). Results: Regarding the organizational climate, an average score of 2.75 was obtained in a range of 0-5, 62.1% have a medium level, followed by a 34.5% low level and finally a 3.4% high level. Regarding the variable "job satisfaction”, an average score of 128.7 was obtained in a range of 0-180, the majority (96.6%) has a level of regular satisfaction. The Spearman bivariate correlation statistical test yields a correlation index of +0.572 (p = 0.001) between both variables. The dimensions "reciprocity" and "participation" of the organizational climate have a statistically significant relationship with job satisfaction Conclusions: The variables "Organizational Climate" and "Labor Satisfaction" have a statistically significant strong proportional relationship in the nursing staff of the sterilization center of the Hospital Santa Rosa - Lima 2017.Publicación Acceso abierto Inteligencia emocional y motivación laboral en personal de salud de la central de esterilización del Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, Lima -2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-04-27) Castro Martínez, Silvana Constanza; Meléndez Meléndez, Concepción María; Matta Solis, Hernán HugoObjective: to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and work motivation of the sterilization center of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, Lima2017. Material and method: Quantitative approach, not experimental. Correlational - descriptive and transversal design. The sample consisted of 23 workers from the sterilization center. The instruments used were the ICE BarOn EQ-I Questionnaire - Emotional Intelligence elaborated by Reuven Baron and the MbM-Management by Motivation Questionnaire elaborated by Marshall Sashkin. The data were processed in the SPSS 23 system; this is the Pearson correlation test. Results: Of the total health personnel studied at the National Hospital Dos de Mayo The average age was 41.52 years, the average work experience of 18.3 years, the average service time was 14.43 years. The majority of 69.6% belong to the female sex. Most 73.9% are nursing technicians and 26.1% are nursing professionals. The majority of 73.9% are named. Most 56.5% (n = 13) have a very high level of emotional intelligence, 30.4% (n = 7) have a high level and 13% (n = 3) have a moderate level. The majority 65.2% (n = 15) have a high level of work motivation, 21.7% (n = 5) have a very high level and 13% (n = 3) have a medium level. Regarding the variable Emotional Intelligence, the average score obtained was 2.81 with a standard deviation of 0.82. Regarding the variable Labor Motivation, the average score was 3.83 with a standard deviation of 0.36. Pearson's correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Labor Motivationwas 0.06. Conclusions: There is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and work motivation in the sterilization center of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, Lima-2017.
