Sobrecarga laboral en profesionales de enfermería y calidad de atención en un hospital de Lima, 2023

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between work overload in nursing and the quality of care, it was developed with an applied, quantitative, correlational descriptive methodology, with a non-experimental design hypothetical deductive method, where the sample was 85 nursing professionals from a hospital in Lima and in the collection two questionnaires were applied, Of these, it was possible to obtain that 15.3% have a low level of work overload, 56.5% medium level and 28.2% high level. Likewise, 17.6% have a quality of care at a poor level, 51.8% at a fair level and 30.6% at a good level. It is concluded that the variable work overload is inversely and negatively related to the variable quality of care according to Spearman's correlation of -0.730, representing this result as moderate with a statistical significance of p=0.000, being less than 0.01.
