Publicación Acceso abierto Sintomatologías musculoesqueléticas relacionadas a los estilos de vida y factores sociodemográficos durante el confinamiento por COVID - 19(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-02-19) Bejarano Ambrosio, Miriam Juvit; Benites Castillo, Santiago MoisesThe purpose of this study was to determine if musculoskeletal symptoms are related to lifestyles and sociodemographic factors during confinement by COVID - 19 in family members in an urban area, a quantitative, non-experimental approach study was developed, correlational and cross-sectional, in 279 participants, selected through nonprobabilistic convenience sampling, considering the selection criteria. The variables were measured using the Nordic Standardized questionnaire for the musculoskeletal symptomatology variables, the quality of life questionnaire for the lifestyle variable and a data collection sheet for the sociodemographic factors variable, the last two were validated and subjected to reliability through Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results of the study show that 67% are female, 46% have an unhealthy quality of life and 64% present symptoms at the lumbar level. Likewise, through the Spearman coefficient, which resulted in 0.74, with a level of significance lower than 0.05, it was determined that there is a high relationship between the variables. It is finally concluded that there is a significant relationship between musculoskeletal symptoms, lifestyles and sociodemographic factors during confinement for COVID-19 in family members in an urban area.
