Ítem Acceso abierto Academic satisfaction and its relationship with achievement in nursing skills in graduates of a private university in Lima - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-08) Soto Tarazona, Paula Lita; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between academic satisfaction as an alternative for achievement in nursing competencies in graduates of a Private University of Lima 2023, where the non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational methodology was used, consisting of 102 nursing graduates. The Chi square test was used for the stated objectives. The results indicate that the graduates surveyed at a private university in Lima, 2.0%, stated that they are dissatisfied with their academic satisfaction, 35.29% stated that they are slightly satisfied, and 72.5% said that they are satisfied, and 1.0% said that they are dissatisfied with their academic satisfaction. They stated that nursing competencies are of a low level, 27.5% stated a medium level and 71.6% stated a high level. In conclusion, there is a significant correlation between both variables, whose significance value p = 0.000 < 0.05; with a Spearman coefficient of 0.680, indicating a positive and good correlation between academic satisfaction and nursing competencies.Ítem Acceso abierto Academic stress and fear of contracting coronavirus in university students of the ninth cycle EAP of Nursing Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-29) Damas Quispe, Vanesa Lesly; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: To determine the level of academic stress and fear of contracting coronavirus in ninth-cycle university students from the Nursing School - Norbert Wiener Private University – 2021. Materials and Methods: The inductive-deductive method was used for this basic research, which has a quantitative approach and a descriptive design. The SISCO academic stress instrument by Barraza, adapted by Alania, Llancari, Rafaele, and Ortega (2020), was applied. This instrument consisted of 47 items and three dimensions (stressors, symptoms, coping strategies), with a reliability of 0.88 in Cronbach's alpha. Additionally, the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) by Ahorsu (2020), composed of 7 items and two dimensions (emotional fear reactions and fear expressions), was used. Regarding the main problem, it was observed that the academic stress variable had 64.29% representing a medium level, while the fear of contracting coronavirus variable showed 78.6%, representing a high level. Materials and Methods: Systematic review [SR], in a sample of 10 scientific publications, with a history of no more than five years and that responded to international and national published titles, in Spanish and English. Results: In this study, 10 articles were selected, where it is found that 60% (06/10) correspond to Colombia, Paraguay, Cuba, Peru, and Spain, while with 40% (04/10) we find Chile and Mexico, respectively. Mostly cross-sectional analytical studies have been studied with 40%, in Colombia, Argentina, Cuba and Paraguay, Peru with 10% contributed 1 quasi-experimental study, Cuba with 10% contributed 1 case and control study, Chile with 10% contributed 1 cohort study, Mexico with 10% contributed 1 randomized study respectively. Spain and Chile with 20% provided cross-sectional descriptive studies. It is caused by the perception of danger to one’s existence, and will be measured using the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS) by Templer. Objective: To determine death anxiety in nursing professionals in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Care and Isolation Center, COVID-19 Hospital Villa Panamericana, Lima-2020. Material and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The design is non-experimental, as the variable will not be deliberately manipulated. Data collection will be done through surveys. To characterize the attitudes of nurses towards euthanasia in terminally ill patients in critical areas of a Hospital in Lima. Year 2020. Materials and methods. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out in a sample made up of 52 nurses who were surveyed, and the rating scale was applied: Scale of attitudes towards euthanasia. The collected data were entered into a database of the SPSS 21 program; They were processed with the percentile test. Results. A little less than half of the nurses surveyed (40.4%) indicated attitudes in favor of euthanasia in terminally ill patients, followed by a figure close to the attitude of rejection (36.5%). In the perception of knowledge dimension, attitudes in favor of euthanasia stood out, in a little less than half (40.4%), followed by a neutral attitude in a little less than a third (32.7%). In the affective dimension, a little more than a third expressed neutral attitudes towards Euthanasia (36.5%), followed by a close figure in favor of attitudes (34.6%). In the behavioral dimension, there was a predominance of neutral attitude, in just under half (40.4%), with a slight tendency towards attitudes of rejection of euthanasia in more than a third (34.6%). Conclusions. The attitudes of nurses towards euthanasia in terminally ill patients are in favor in just under half. The research has a quantitative approach, correlational scope, the design of the research is non-experimental, cross-sectional, 100 students of the tenth cycle of the Norbert Wiener University have been considered. The instrument consisted of the Attitudes towards research questionnaire and the Scale of willingness to carry out a thesis using the survey technique. The distribution of sociodemographic frequencies of the age of the students indicates that the female sex is the majority in this study with 89% and the male sex is 11%. The attitude towards research with the disposition to carry out a thesis is that there is a moderately favorable attitude with a medium disposition to elaborate thesis in 81%. The attitude in its affective dimension with the willingness to write the thesis is that the attitude is favorable with average willingness to write the thesis in 54%. The attitude in its behavioral dimension with the willingness to write a thesis is that the attitude is moderately favorable with a half willingness to write a thesis in 50%. The attitude in its cognitive dimension with the willingness to prepare thesis is that the attitude is moderately favorable with a medium willingness to prepare thesis in 62%. All outcomes were measured by crosstabulation and Spearman's Rho correlation. Su metodología fue hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, aplicada, no experimental, trasversal y correlacional con una población de 109 estudiantes y 85 demuestra en donde se aplicó un cuestionario por variable para la recolección de datos. Respecto a los resultados se identificó que la edad predominante fue de 13 años con 42.4% y el género fue el femenino con 53.3% respecto a la correlación de variables visualizó que 53 alumnos presentaron 89.8% de nivel medio de la autoestima, conllevando que sus habilidades sociales sean normales y en el caso de la hipótesis se identificó la existencia de la relación estadísticamente significativa entre la autoestima y las habilidades sociales porque se obtuvo el valor de la prueba fue de Rho = 0,896, indicando el grado de relación positiva alta; por lo tanto, se entiende que cuando una variable mejora, la otra también.Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad de atención de la enfermera relacionado a la satisfacción del paciente que acude al consultorio médico general en Surco – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-16) Burga Ávila, Gabriela Melissa; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethLa enfermera se enfoca en brindar una atención adecuada a personas sanas o enfermas y así lograr un beneficio para el paciente; cuyo Objetivo del estudio fue determinar la calidad de atención de la enfermera relacionado a la satisfacción del paciente que acude al consultorio médico general, Surco – 2023, donde se empleó la metodología hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, constituido por 80 usuarios de consultorio. Se utilizó para recolectar los datos instrumentos validados y con una confiabilidad de 0,98 y 0.832 por alfa de Cronbach para el cuestionario calidad de atención y el cuestionario de satisfacción de usuario. Materiales y métodos: el presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló desde el enfoque cuantitativo puesto que la recopilación de datos fue medible, representaron datos numéricos y cantidades que se analizaron con métodos estadísticos, teniendo como muestra a 130 pacientes diagnosticados con la enfermedad de la DM2. En este caso fue tomada la encuesta como técnica en el que se implementó el cuestionario elaborado y validado por la Universidad de Sidney, ya que permitía comparar sus resultados con otros trabajos realizados en atención primaria. Resultados: un 66,9% de los adultos mayores con DM2 que acuden a consultorio externo en el hospital Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thomson poseen conocimientos medios acerca de la DM2, mientras que el restante 33,1% demostraron tener conocimientos bajos sobre la misma. Al agrupar por dimensiones se tienen que el nivel de conocimiento general está ubicado en el nivel medio con un 56,2%, así mismo, el nivel de conocimientos de complicaciones es medio que equivale a un 60,8%. The Methodology was quantitative, hypothetical - deductive, applied type, non-experimental, correlational and transversal; with a population of 85 patients who attend a private clinic in Lima. The instruments were two (02) questionnaires, the Beck version 2 instrument of 21 items to assess depression and the SF-36 version 2 instrument of 36 items to assess the QoL of the patients. To process the data, SPSS v-25 was used. The present thesis reveals in its results that the serious relationship of the depression variable is associated with the bad level of the quality-of-life variable in 15.3% in 13 patients, there is also a slight relationship of the depression variable with the good level of the variable. quality of life by 15.3%. The other ratios are less than and equal to the percentage of 14.1%. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between depression and quality of life in hemodialysis patients. The research was hypotheticaldeductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design and correlational scope. The population consisted of 140 adolescents with a sample of 105 adolescents. The instrument was a validated and reliable questionnaire and collection sheet. The results refer that 40.0% (42) had 15 years followed by 35.2% (37) of 16 years, in terms of sex, 50.65% (53) were female; Eating habits were adequate in the dimensions: type of food with 61% (64), frequency with 53.3% (56), place with 70.5% (74), beliefs with 62.9% (66) and economy. with 74.3%; while the time dimension was inadequate in 79.0% (83). The nutritional status was normal in 75.2% (79) of the cases, overweight in 21% (22) and obesity in 3.8% (4), regarding the correlation of variables, no significant associations were found. between eating habits and nutritional status being rho=-0.117 and p=0.235; however, a significant association was found between the Place dimension and nutritional status, with rho=0.214 and p=0.028. El 90% de los artículos evidencian efectividad de la terapia por presión negativa tópica disminuye las infecciones en el tratamiento de pacientes con heridas quirúrgicas. El 10% no evidenció la efectividad de esta terapia por que refiere necesitar ensayos definitivos más grandes para aclarar la utilidad clínica del tratamiento con presión negativa de la herida quirúrgicas. Materials and Methods: The Systematic review consists of 10 scientific articles identified in the following databases: Indexf, Scielo, Epistemonikos, Pubmed, Gicos, Ecitydoc, Medigraphic, Inheridas. By the type of design. By type of design: Within the 10 evidence, the research design belongs 30% (3/10) Systematic review, 10% (1/10) Systematic review and meta-analysis, 10% (1/10) controlled study and randomized, 10% (1/10) Open experimental, 10% (1/10) Case and control, 10% (1/10) cohort study, 10% (1/10) prospective randomized analytical study, 10% (1/10) experimental clinical trial. By type of quality: Of the total of 10 pieces of evidence, 60% (6/10) are of high quality, 30% (3/10) of moderate quality, and 10% (1/10) are of low quality. Material and Methods: Systematic Review, the search has been restricted to systematic reviews with full text which have been selected for having been subjected to a critical reading, using the GRADE evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Of the 10 international systematic reviews found, it is observed that 70% (7) correspond to systematic reviews, 10% (1) trials, 10% (1) randomized study and 10% (1) randomized study. Results: It is observed that when selecting Systematic Reviews, the results found were that 90% of the evidence shows that alternative medicine in pediatric patients with otitis media is effective and 10% is not effective. Conclusions: It is concluded that 9/10 of the articles found demonstrate that the use of alternative and complementary medicine is effective in the treatment of pediatric patients with otitis media and that only 1/10 does not demonstrate effectiveness.
