Publicación Acceso abierto Habilidades comunicativas y la calidad de las notas de enfermería en el servicio de hospitalización de una Institución Hospitalaria de Lima, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-30) Arteaga Salinas, Geraldine Cristhy; Verastegui Azalde, Adriana Irene; Remuzgo Artezano, AnikaObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between communication skills and the quality of nursing the notes in the hospitalization service. Methodology: The study was developed with the hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative, non-experimental, transversal and correlational approach. The sample is made up of 169 professionals and 2 instruments were used, the first was Validation of the scale on communication skills, by Leal Costa and collaborators with a Likert-type measurement, and the second by Elizabeth Elera on nursing records with a scale of ordinal measurement. Results: According to the results of 100% (169) nurses, the level of communication skills was high at 82.8%, medium at 17.2% and low at 0%. Regarding the quality of the nursing notes, the regular level was 56.2%, good. 34.3% and bad 9.5%. According to the Rho Spearman test, there is a significant relationship between the variable’s communication skills and quality of nursing notes (Rho =0.992, p=0.001). Regarding the dimensions, there is a significant correlation (Rho = 0.745 p=0.000) between computer communication (Rho= 0.894 P= 0.000), respect (Rho= 0.088 P=0.000) and social skill (Rho= 0.822 P=0.000) with the quality of nursing notes. Conclusion: Therefore, it is concluded that, if there is a relationship between communication skills and the quality of nursing notes, in the hospitalization service of a Hospital Institution in Lima in the year 2024.
