Publicación Acceso abierto TIC en salud y calidad de servicio en un hospital de Lima Sur, Villa Maria del Triunfo, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-23) Gutierrez Luyo, Marielena; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between information technology and communication in health and quality of service in a hospital in southern Lima, this hospital is located in Villa María del Triunfo. The research was deductive, quantitative, descriptive correlational, in the data collected, the two instruments were applied to the user of the emergency service and office, according to the period of time and sequence, the study is cross-sectional since the instruments were applied to each user only once with prior informed consent; and according to the study and scope of the product found. The investigation showed that ICT and quality of care do not have a significant relationship (p= 0.773 > 0.01); likewise, Spearman's coefficient is -0.035 ; this means that the relationship is inverse (negative); that is, if the ICT score increases, then the Quality of care score decreases. 90.3% of hospital users consider that the use of ICTs is good and 100% of users consider the quality of care to be good and in the safety dimension 97.2% consider it good, being the items of preference of the use of the electronic medical record is the most favourable, also that laboratory requests and other examinations be made using the computerized route and they even recommend continuing with this type of technology due to its usefulness and speeding up intra-hospital processes.
