Burnout syndrome and its relationship with job satisfaction among healthcare staff in the Mobile Emergency Care System, Lima region, during the COVID-19 emergency, 2021

Objective: Determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the job satisfaction of health personnel in the mobile emergency care system, during the state of emergency of COVID 19. Methodology: The study has a quantitative approach, of an applied type, non-experimental design, descriptive – correlational type, with cross-section. Population: All workers of the mobile emergency care system, which is a total of 46. Data collection technique and instrument: As a technique, the survey will be used for both variables; and as an instrument, the Maslach Burnout Inventory will be used, for the Burnout Syndrome variable, and the Sonia Palma Job Satisfaction Scale, for the variable of the same name. Data analysis: Data will be collected through the form on the Google Docs platform. for each instrument; Subsequently, the data obtained will be organized and tabulated, exporting them to the SPSS 26 software, which will allow the development of tables and graphs as results. This program will allow us to obtain correlation tables between variables and dimension with variable; The normality test will be used, which will allow me to determine the parametric or non-parametric statistics, thus identifying the use of the indicated correlation coefficient, resulting in the contrast of the proposed hypotheses.

Compliance with biosafety rules: hand washing by nurses at the Chancay hospital, September to December 2020

Introduction: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it states that Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) are transmitted within the hospital environment between patients and healthcare personnel, which is why it is considered a performance indicator in hospital management. with the purpose of strengthening the resolution capacity in infection prevention and control processes; Thus, handwashing is everyone's responsibility. Objective: Determine compliance with biosafety rules: hand washing in nurses at the Chancay hospital, September - December, 2020. Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be carried out. The study population will be made up of the total number of nurses at the Chancay Hospital, from which a sample of 81 nurses who work in the healthcare area will be obtained, to whom the checklist on compliance with the requirements will be applied as an instrument. biosafety rules: hand washing. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the statistical package SPSS Vs. 26.0, and Excel 2016.

Effectiveness of palliative care in intensive care

Objective: Review and systematize the effectiveness of palliative care in the intensive care unit. Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subjected to critical selection, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence, found in the following databases: PubMed, Sciencedirect, Scielo, Wiley Online Library, Elsevier, Epistemonikos. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 80% (n= 8/10) are systematic reviews and 20% (n= 2/10) are meta-analyses. According to the results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study, they come from the USA (30%), followed by Brazil (30%), Spain (20%), Italy (10%) and Germany (10%). Results: Likewise, of the evidence found, 60% (n=06/10) indicate the effectiveness of palliative care in the intensive care unit. Conclusion: palliative care in the intensive care unit is effective since it provides benefits to the patient and family with regard to their timely treatment of pain and taking into account its biopsychosocial-spiritual aspect.

Factores de acceso a servicios de salud y la percepción de atención en usuarios con jurisdicción a DIRIS-01 2023

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar que los factores de acceso a los servicios de salud en el primer nivel de atención se relacionan con la percepción de atención en los usuarios. Es estudio se realizó con el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte transeccional y alcance correlacional. La población lo conformaron 800 usuarios que acuden en promedio a los establecimientos de salud del primer nivel de atención con jurisdicción a DIRIS Lima Centro; la muestra estuvo representada por 261 usuarios. Se emplearon dos cuestionarios, el "Cuestionario Acceso a los servicios de salud " y el “Cuestionario Percepción de la atención en salud”. Los resultados principales evidencian que el 29,1% de los usuarios registraron un nivel alto de acceso al servicio de salud, el 67,0% un nivel medio y el 3,8% un nivel bajo; respecto a la percepción de atención en salud, el 43,7% de los usuarios perciben un nivel alto de la atención en la salud, el 50,2% un nivel medio y el 6,1% un nivel bajo. Se determinó relación entre los factores de acceso a los servicios de salud en el primer nivel de atención y la percepción de atención en los usuarios (r=0,973; p=0,000); asimismo, se identificó relación entre las dimensiones disponibilidad (r=0,648; p=0,000), accesibilidad (r=0,610; p=0,000), aceptabilidad (r=0,697; p=0,000) y calidad (r=0,879; p=0,000) con la percepción de atención en los usuarios.

Impacto psicológico y las medidas adoptadas en la atención clínica producto de la pandemia del Covid-19 en estudiantes de odontología de la Universidad Norbert Wiener – Lima, 2023

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el impacto psicológico experimentado por estudiantes de odontología de la Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener en Lima, durante el año 2023, y las medidas adoptadas en la atención clínica debido a la pandemia del COVID-19. La investigación se enmarcó en un enfoque cuantitativo con un nivel descriptivo correlacional y un diseño no experimental, transversal, utilizando una muestra de 157 estudiantes. Los resultados revelaron que la mayoría de los estudiantes adoptaron medidas de forma "buena" (68.2%), mientras que un pequeño porcentaje (10.8%) reflejó un impacto psicológico "alto" cuando las medidas que adoptaron fueron calificadas como "buenas". Asimismo, el 2.5% de los encuestados que adoptaron medidas de forma "regular" mostraron un impacto psicológico "bajo". Se encontró una relación significativa entre el impacto psicológico y las medidas adoptadas en la atención clínica debido a la pandemia (p = 0.001), con una correlación positiva y baja (Rho = 0.267). En conclusión, este estudio resalta la importancia de comprender el impacto psicológico de la pandemia en los estudiantes de odontología y cómo las medidas adoptadas en la atención clínica pueden influir en su bienestar emocional.

Use of personal protective equipment in nursing professionals during the care of patients with COVID-19 in the emergency service in a national hospital of MINSA in Lima - 2020

PPE in hospitals, clinics or posts for patient care has had great significance. They are first-rate prevention devices that are indispensable and necessary in the fight against Covid-19 to protect health personnel. Objective: Determine the use of personal protective equipment in nursing professionals during care of patients with COVID-19. Material and methods: The present study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional. The technique that will be used in this study will be observation. To measure the main variable, observation will be used and the Crombach's Alpha Concordance Test will be calculated.
