Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge of good food handling practices (BPM) and its relationship with the contamination of food served at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital -2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-05) Castillo Jimenez, Andres Avelino; Pasache Moreno, Julissa MaríaThe research titled “Knowledge of good food handling practices (GMP) and its relationship with the contamination of food served at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital (HGAI)-2022”; The objective was to determine the relationship between knowledge of Good Handling Practices (GMP) and the contamination of food served to HGAI staff. The methodology used was the scientific method, with a quantitative approach, basic explanatory type, correlational level and non-experimental design. The population was made up of 110 nutrition technicians and the sample was made up of 86 individuals from this group population through probabilistic sampling. The technique used to collect the information was the survey, using the Manipulation questionnaires (GMP) created and adapted by Barra Chiquillan (2017), and the food contamination questionnaire validated by experts. The results showed a good level of 68.6% in knowledge of GMP and contamination of food served reached a regular level of 56.98%; Likewise, a considerable positive correlation was found between these two variables with a sig. of 0.000 and a Spearman's Rho of .937. It is concluded that knowledge of GMP is related to the contamination of food served to the staff of the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital, 2022.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of compliance on handling and storage conditions of sterile material of nurses in operating room of a national hospital January - March. 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-02-07) Merino Morales, Dallana Tatiana; Bastidas Solis, Miriam CeciliaAim. It will be determined the level of compliance on handling and storage conditions of sterile material of the operating room nurses of a National Hospital from January to March 2021. Material and methods. This research will have a quantitative approach, with a cross-sectional descriptive methodological design. The population will be made up of 68 nurses who work in the operating room of a National Hospital, who will meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research. One of the inclusion criteria is that they are working for at least 3 months in the operating room. operations. The technique that will be used is the survey, easy to use and evaluate, which will allow us to collect safe, optimal and effective data. The instrument that will help us collect data will be a questionnaire that consists of 40 statements, with a validity and reliability of 84% and 91% respectively; This questionnaire is grouped into 4 dimensions, with an evaluation scale from 0 to 100, where the high score is 80 -100, medium score 50 - 79 and low score 0 - 49. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the Excel statistical package.
