Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of skin antisepsis with chlorhexidine compared to other antiseptics for the prevention of infections in patients requiring a peripheral venous catheter(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-22) Martinez Vera, Yasmina Tatiana; Rosales Clemente, Raquel Nelly; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioObjective: Systematize the patents on the effectiveness of skin antisepsis for the prevention of infection in patients who require the use of a peripheral venous catheter. Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are scientific inquiries, where the element of exploration is the unique primary works. It is a fundamental instrument for the synthesis of scientific reference, increasing the value of study results and in turn identifying areas that need to be investigated. It is executed using a strict methodology and high quality control to avoid erroneous conclusions. The investigation is limited to writings with complete content. Those chosen were subjected to a thorough investigation, using the grade system that allowed us to record the strength of recommendation. From the final choice, 10 articles were selected, of which we found that 20% (02) belong to the country of Japan and France, while 10% (01) correspond, respectively, to Canada, Portugal, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. , United States and Ireland. Among the randomized clinical trials we find studies from Canada, the United Kingdom, France with 70% and systematic reviews from Portugal, the United States and Singapore with 30%. Results: Of all the articles analyzed, 80% affirm that chlorhexidine is more effective than the use of other antiseptics in preventing infections. Conclusions: The research reviewed shows that there is effectiveness of skin antisepsis with chlorhexidine compared to other antiseptics in preventing infections in patients requiring a peripheral venous catheter.Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of hand venipuncture versus heel puncture for sampling in the newborn(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Cruz Rázuri, Manuela Isabel; Rivera Lozada de Bonilla, OrianaMaterial and methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 08 articles were chosen, we found that from the systematic review, 40% correspond to Spain, 40% to Canada and 10% to Japan, and the remaining 10% to the country of Argentina. The majority of quantitative studies have been studied, mainly 70%, while 20% of the Systematic Review has been used by Canada and Spain and the remaining 10% constitutes an observational study also carried out in Spain. Conclusions: It was evident in the reviewed research that venipuncture is 100% more effective for taking blood samples in the newborn, it is less painful and less traumatic compared to heel puncture; The time spent performing it is three times less compared to the heel lance. Its application does not increase false positives. Sweetened elements are used to reduce pain.Ítem Acceso abierto Humanized care and satisfaction of the patient who surpassed the COVID-19 stage in the intensive care unit, in a Public Hospital in Lima, from July to December 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-04) Pineda, Yohany Alexis; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThe use of cutting-edge technology in the intensive care unit sometimes does not allow us to see the patient as a whole, leaving aside an important element such as human care. That is why in this research the objective will be established to determine the relationship between humanized care and satisfaction of the patient who overcame the covid-19 stage in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima - Peru, from July to December 2022. The The study is proposed from a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, simple correlational cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of a total of 62 patients confined in the ICU with a diagnosis of covid-19 who have passed the critical stage in 2022, selected through intentional sampling. The data collection technique and instrument will be the survey using the Perception Humanized Nursing Care Instrument (PCHE) and CARE Q Questionnaire questionnaires, which have been previously validated. The collected data will be emptied into the Excel database and then processed with the SPSS statistical program. The software will show the type of relationship that exists between the variables, and tables and figures will be represented.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice on prevention of biological risks of the nursing professional of the surgical center of a Hospital in Ica – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-04) Huasasquiche Morales, Jenifer Yesenia; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioObjective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice on biological risk prevention of the nursing professional at the Surgical Center of a hospital in the Ica region - 2022. Material and method: This work will use the hypothetical deductive, quantitative method, the applied type, without correlational level experiments. The population will be made up of 60 nurses who work in the surgical center of the Regional Hospital of Ica, a non-probabilistic demonstration will be used for convenience, using the instruments in knowledge of biological risk prevention, consisting of 32 questions and dimensions: Personal hygiene standards, use of personal protective equipment, handling of sharp materials and biocontaminated waste, vaccination schedule; instrument on biological risk prevention practice consists of 20 elements and dimensions: chemical barriers, physical barriers and elimination of sharp and/or contaminated material; Subject to expert judgment, the Pearson relationship coefficient test will be carried out to measure the variables.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practices about the safety process of surgical instruments, nursing professional, Huaral hospital 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-04) Eustaquio Fernández, Carmen; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoPeru has a tendency that 20% of surgical interventions end in infection of the surgical site, this may be due to the fact that a sample of nursing personnel studied, 67% report that there is no specific area to carry out the cleaning process, and that 100% of the staff indicate that the activity is not carried out in an appropriate place, they do not use enzymatic detergent to wash materials, and that 79% do not comply with rinsing medical instruments with running water, and Even worse for the sterilization process, 46% do not place external or internal indicators (4) One of the elements contributing to the transmission of pathogens are the surgical instruments, which are used within the surgical act, which subsequently implies giving the appropriate cleaning and disinfection process to reduce the microbial load, guaranteeing optimal sterility and thus preventing this type. of complications (5) One of the elements contributing to the transmission of pathogens are the surgical instruments, which are used within the surgical act, which subsequently implies giving the appropriate cleaning and disinfection process to reduce the microbial load, guaranteeing optimal sterility and thus preventing this type. of complications (5) In this context, a great challenge arises for the nursing professional who requires knowledge about the care of surgical instruments since this must be meticulous and standardized, carried out in a methodical and precise manner (6).Ítem Acceso abierto Life and resilience project in 4th year high school students of the "Jose Olaya Balandra" educational institute - La Perla(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-10-23) Alarcón Chasquibol, Basiel Alexander; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThis analysis work whose objective is to establish the connection in both the elements of strength and the elements of the Existence Plan in 4th grade secondary school students of the “José Olaya Balandra” Educational Institute of the district of La Perla - Callao. This research is of a narrative-relational type, and consists of a non-experimental transactional-relational outline whose test is non-statistical purpose; Likewise, it is made up of 60 students from 14 to 18 years of age, who are in the 4th year of secondary school. That analysis was carried out using the Bisquerra scale according to the degree of relationship between the variables. Spearman's Rho relationship formula was equal to 0.729, which deduces that there is a positive correlation between the variable called life project and the resilience variable in 4th year high school students of the “José Olaya Balandra” Educational Institute. Furthermore, there is a statistically significant relationship; Likewise, it is evident that the value of sig. = 0.000 is less than 0.01, turning out to be very significant, then the nullification assumption (Ho) is denied and the optional assumption (Ha) is approved.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life of the caregiver of patients with schizophrenia treated at the Wiñay community mental health center, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-11) Wong Salazar, Rosmery Ingrid; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: Determine the quality of life of the caregiver in patients with schizophrenia treated at the Community Mental Health Center, Wiñay, 2020. Material and methods: The approach will be quantitative, because the variables will be measured through the use of an instrument. The design will be transversal, because the data is collected punctually with respect to time. Furthermore, it will be descriptive because it will be observed and measured without manipulating variables. The technique to be used is the survey. The instrument that will be used is the WHOQOL BREF. The WHOQOL-BREF is made up of 26 items to provide a broad and comprehensive evaluation. The instrument should be self-administered if respondents have the necessary understanding of it, otherwise interviewer-assisted or interview-administered forms should be used. It contains 4 dimensions, which denote people's perception of the quality of life in these dimensions. Domain scores are scaled in a positive direction (i.e., higher scores indicate better quality of life). The mean score of the items within each dimension is used to calculate the dimension score. Once the conversions have been made, the final scores are on a scale of 0 – 100. In Peru it has been validated in various investigations. Leguía, in Peru, in the study “Quality of Life and coping strategies in older adults in Lima” carried out validity and reliability tests, finding a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.86. De la Cruz and collaborators, in 2014, also carried out a validation of expert judgment, obtaining high agreement rates.Ítem Acceso abierto Socioeconomic characteristics of patients with covid-19 admitted to the ICU of a national hospital in Lima, August – November 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-08-22) Bautista Regalado, Mily Karina; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoThis project has been developed following the line of research corresponding to patient care.
