The research employed a cross-sectional design and was also descriptive, quantitative, and correlational. The study population consisted of 70 different nurses. The survey technique was chosen, with the questionnaire as the instrument. It was found that there is a relationship between burnout syndrome and job performance through Spearman's correlation factor, which was Rho = -0.302. These results indicate the presence of a negative connection between both variables, which, since they are inversely proportional, suggests that improvement in job performance is likely to occur after the absence of burnout syndrome. The results led the researchers to conclude that there is a connection between burnout syndrome and overall job performance. Similarly, 1.4% (1) of the respondents from a private clinic in Lima had a high presence of burnout syndrome, 91.4% (64) had a medium level, and 7.1% (5) had a low level. On the other hand, 54.3% (38) had excellent job performance, 44.3% (31) had good job performance, and 1.4% (1) had poor job performance.Ítem Acceso abierto Burnout syndrome and job performance in nurses in the intensive care unit of a national level III hospital, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-11) Flores Cayo, Thalia Mariluisa; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioObjective: To establish how Burnout syndrome is related to job performance in nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a national Level III Hospital. It should be noted that the two questionnaires are valid and reliable, and they will also propose the high, medium and low level for both variables as the final value. Finally, in terms of data analysis, descriptive information will be reported using tables and frequencies, while inferential information will use Spearman's coefficient to determine the level of correlation.Ítem Acceso abierto Burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in nurses in the emergency area, in a hospital in Lima level III-1, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-16) Champi Curo, Erika; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleIntroduction: Nurses in the emergency area are more likely to suffer from burnout syndrome, which affects their emotional health and is developed by extreme situations in their profession such as: critical care, personal factors, workload and work environment.
