The present study "Burnout Syndrome and Depression in nurses of the emergency service - COVID area of the Ate Vitarte National Hospital - 2020, was raised as Objective: To establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the levels of depression in nurses of the Emergency Service COVID Area of the Ate Vitarte National Hospital, during the care of the national health emergency. Material and method: The study will be applicative, quantitative approach, correlational scope, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The total population will be 125 nurses. Two data collection instruments will be used: The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to measure Burnout Syndrome and the Patient Health Questionnaire - 9 (PHQ - 9), to measure depression. The technique to be used will be the survey. After completing the data collection, the results found will be captured in tables and graphs in percentages according to each dimension in order to later correlate the variables and make the respective comments in contrast with the respective background and theories, monitor and supervise these processes to maintain or improve patient care.
Resumen
El presente estudio “Síndrome de Burnout y Depresión en los enfermeros del servicio de emergencia – área COVID del Hospital Nacional Ate Vitarte - 2020, se planteó como Objetivo: Establecer la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y los niveles de depresión en los enfermeros del Servicio de Emergencia Área COVID del Hospital Nacional Ate Vitarte, durante la atención de la emergencia nacional sanitaria. Material y método: El estudio será de tipo aplicativo, enfoque cuantitativo, alcance correlacional, diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. la población total será de 125 enfermeras. Se utilizarán dos instrumentos de recolección de datos: El Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) para medir el Síndrome de Burnout y el Patient Health Questionnaire – 9 (PHQ – 9), para medir la depresión. la técnica a utilizar será la encuesta. Después que culminar de recolectar los datos, los resultados encontrados serán plasmados en tablas y gráficos en porcentajes según cada dimensión para después poder realizar la correlación de variables y el comentario respectivo en contraste con los antecedentes y teorías respectivas monitorear y supervisar estos procesos para mantener o mejorar la atención hacia los pacientes.
