Ergonomic risk factors and low back pain in the administrative staff of the Municipality of Ancon, 2022
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-27) Bravo Leyva, Gianella Fabiola; Arrieta Córdova, Andy Freud
Low back pain is one of the most common ailments worldwide, and studies indicate that most people have experienced it at least once in their lifetime. This issue is often overlooked, potentially causing long-term damage. Furthermore, people are often unaware of ergonomics. In the workplace, several factors need to be considered when performing tasks; failure to do so may lead to ergonomic risk factors, which are workplace conditions that identify physical and psychological injuries resulting from job demands, increasing the likelihood of damage. Studies indicate that 97% of low back pain cases affect administrative staff, who spend long hours seated, putting additional strain on the spine. They may also suffer musculoskeletal injuries in other areas of the body, which in some cases can lead to work incapacity.

Ergonomic risk factors and musculoskeletal alterations in the nurses of the emergency service of the Huacho regional hospital 2021
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-09) Herrera Rubio, Luz Naydu; Gamarra Bustillos, Carlos
According to the ILO and WHO, whose goal is to promote workers' health, we see that this is not being achieved in the health sector due to the high demand for care and lack of resources (financial, equipment, materials, and human resources). Every year, musculoskeletal disorders have been increasing both nationally and locally, becoming one of the leading causes of frequent pathologies. The health crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in occupational risk problems for this workforce. Objective: To determine the relationship between ergonomic risk factors and musculoskeletal disorders in nurses in the emergency department at Huacho Regional Hospital in 2021. This is a quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental study with a sample population of 30 nurses. Data collection will use two validated forms. The first variable, ergonomic risks, will be measured using a questionnaire validated by Chambilla (Tacna 2019), with a significant reliability level of 0.733 by Cronbach's Alpha. The second variable, musculoskeletal disorders, will be measured using a questionnaire validated by Santamaría (Lima 2018), with Cronbach's Alpha showing a confidentiality level of 0.981, ensuring the reliability of the instrument. Statistical analysis will be conducted using SPSS software, and correlation will be assessed using Spearman's R correlation.
