Publicación Acceso abierto Autoconcepto académico y su nivel de relación con la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de una universidad nacional - 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-05) Arenas Calderón, José Luis; Huaita Acha, Delsi MarielaEn esta investigación, el objetivo fue determinar el nivel de relación entre autoconcepto académico y la inteligencia emocional en la Universidad Nacional de Cañete de la carrera profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de III, IV y V ciclos; siendo la investigación hipotética deductiva, tipo básica aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, descriptiva correlacional, no experimental y transversal. La población fue de 120 estudiantes universitarios cuya muestra fue no probabilística. Los instrumentos usados fueron el autoconcepto AF5 y para inteligencia emocional Trait Meta Mood Scale-24. Los resultados muestran que existen relaciones significativas positivas entre autoconcepto académico y la inteligencia emocional, asimismo un relación significativa entre autoconcepto académico y las dimensiones: atención emocional, claridad emocional y reparación emocional.Publicación Acceso abierto Autoestima e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa de San Juan de Miraflores, Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-09-17) Silva Peña, Daisy Keyli; Paico Ruiz, Marcos JoséLa finalidad de este estudio consistió en establecer la relación entre autoestima e inteligencia emocional en una muestra de 187 estudiantes de ambos sexos que oscilan entre 13 a 18 años, que cursan entre 3ro a 5to de secundaria de un colegio del distrito de San Juan de Miraflores, Lima-Perú. La metodología fue de tipo básico, de diseño no experimental y con nivel correlacional, además, el muestreo fue no probabilístico por conveniencia y los instrumentos aplicados fueron el Inventario de Autoestima de Coopersmith (Coopersmith, 1967) y el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional Bar-On ICE:Na (Bar-On, 1997). En los resultados se encontró mayor porcentaje de estudiantes con niveles moderados de autoestima (56.1%) y de inteligencia emocional (55.1%), adicionalmente, se encontró correlación entre autoestima e inteligencia emocional (rs=.215, p=.00), así mismo, autoestima se correlaciona con las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional como interpersonal (rs=.237), adaptabilidad (rs=.239) y estado de ánimo general (rs=.312), sin embargo, no se correlacionó con la dimensión intrapersonal, manejo de emociones e impresión positiva (p>.05) . En conclusión, este hallazgo implica que la percepción positiva de uno mismo está asociada con una mayor habilidad para comprender y gestionar las emociones.Publicación Acceso abierto Autoestima e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de tercero a quinto de secundaria de una institución educativa publica de Villa María del Triunfo, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-10-23) Rodríguez Urbina, Gianina; Cruz Telada, Yreneo EugenioEl propósito principal de la investigación fue verificar la relación existente entre la autoestima y la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de tercero a quinto año de secundaria de una institución educativa pública del distrito de Villa María del Triunfo durante el año 2024. El método empleado fue hipotético-deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo. La investigación fue de tipo básica, con un diseño no experimental, de nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 122 estudiantes, hombres y mujeres, entre tercero y quinto año de secundaria. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos: la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg y la escala TMMS-24 (Escala de metaestado de ánimo de rasgos) de Salovey y Mayer. El análisis de los datos se realizó mediante el paquete estadístico para ciencias sociales SPSS v. 25 y Excel. Los hallazgos evidenciaron una correlación positiva y significativa entre la relación de la autoestima y la inteligencia emocional (Rho = 0.456), lo cual confirma la hipótesis general del estudio y permite concluir que existe una relación directa entre ambas variables en la población evaluada.Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad de relación de pareja y apego emocional en estudiantes de un instituto superior pedagógico de Ayacucho, 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-10-31) Martínez Palomino, Flavio César; Tomas Quispe, Gregorio ErnestoLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo conocer la relación entre la calidad de relación de pareja y el apego emocional en estudiantes de un instituto superior pedagógico de Ayacucho. La metodología utilizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, de corte transversal con alcance correlacional y el método hipotético deductivo; la muestra estuvo conformada por 200 estudiantes de ambos sexos de un instituto superior pedagógico de Ayacucho, en donde se les aplicó la Escala de ajuste diádico (EAD) y el cuestionario de apego de CAMIR-R. Posteriormente la recopilación de los datos se ejecutaron en el programa estadístico SPSS V.26. en donde se determinó según los resultados obtenidos que no existe relación significativa (rho= 0.114; p = 0.109 > 0.05), entre la calidad de relación de pareja y el apego emocional. Estos hallazgos indican que el apego emocional no guarda relación estadísticamente significativa con la calidad de la relación de pareja en los estudiantes evaluados. Aunque se observaron correlaciones débiles en algunas dimensiones, estas no alcanzaron niveles de significancia, lo cual sugiere que el apego no constituye un factor determinante en la percepción de la calidad de relación de pareja en esta muestra estudiada.Publicación Acceso abierto Clima organizacional e inteligencia emocional en trabajadores de una municipalidad de Lima metropolitana, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-09-27) Del Castillo Flores, Liz Anjhela; Cruz Telada, Yreneo EugenioEste estudio se realizó basado en el fin de analizar la asociación del clima organizacional e inteligencia emocional en trabajadores pertenecientes a una municipalidad en Lima Metropolitana. El diseño para este trabajo fue no experimental, con un corte transversal, nivel correlativo, tipo básico; se seleccionó a un grupo de 291 colaboradores de una municipalidad de Lima, para lo cual se aplicó el Cuestionario de clima organización del MINSA y el Cuestionario de inteligencia emocional (TMMS-24). Los resultados indicaron que, en el clima organizacional presentaron un nivel favorable de 64.9%, en inteligencia emocional la mayoría presentan un nivel alto con 45.4%. Asimismo, presenta una correlación significativa de manera positiva directa y moderada entre el clima de la organización e inteligencia emocional (rho=0.69; p<0.05); de igual forma, el clima organizacional se correlacionó con la atención emocional (rho=0.48; p<0.05), claridad emocional (rho=0.71; p<0.05) y regulación emocional (rho=0.69; p<0.05). A partir de esto, la conclusión fue que, si los laboradores de una municipalidad de Lima elevan su inteligencia emocional el clima laboral de la organización será más favorable.Publicación Acceso abierto Clima social familiar e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de 3ero y 4to de secundaria de una institución educativa privada en Abancay, Apurímac, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-09-02) Yupanqui Chávez, Harrison Manuel; Camacho Silva, Santa ObduliaEl estudio abordó como objetivo, determinar la relación entre clima social familiar e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de 3ero y 4to de secundaria de una institución educativa privada en Abancay, Apurímac, 2024. Por tal razón, consideró una metodología de tipo básica, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental-transversal y nivel correlacional; seleccionando una muestra de 108 participantes y haciendo uso de dos instrumentos validados, el primero correspondió a la Escala Clima Social Familiar (FES) y el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional de BarOn Ice. En función a los hallazgos, se identificó que el 84.3% de los estudiantes presentaban un clima social familiar regular; y el 90.7% demostró un nivel medio de inteligencia emocional. Además, se encontraron relaciones positivas bajas y muy significativas (p < 0.05) entre las dimensiones relaciones (rho = .522**), desarrollo (rho = .526**) y estabilidad (rho = .558**) con la inteligencia emocional. Objective: To relate the communication skills and emotional support of nursing towards the family member of the critically ill patient hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a Hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2022. Material and Method: The approach will be quantitative, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional. The population will consist of 55 relatives of patients hospitalized in the ICU of a Hospital in Metropolitan Lima. To measure communication skills, a Likert scale survey developed by Franco R will be applied, with adequate validity, 85% and a reliability of 0.805 measured by Crombach's Alpha. For the evaluation of emotional support, a Likert scale survey developed by Álvarez R will be applied, with adequate validity according to the Aiken V test of 100% and a reliability of 0.805 measured by Crombach's Alpha. The results obtained through the statistical analysis of Spearman's Rho showed a correlation of -.512; also, a significance of less than 0.05 (p< 0.05). Methodology: A study was conducted with a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational scope, and cross-sectional methodology. The sample consisted of 65 participants, with a census sampling approach since the entire population was included. Data were collected using two questionnaires. The first questionnaire, structured as a survey, measured emotional intelligence and consisted of 24 items distributed across three dimensions. The second instrument, also a survey, measured anxiety levels and comprised 14 items across two dimensions. These instruments provided the necessary data for the investigation. Results: The findings will be presented in frequency and percentage tables using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study was conducted with a sample of 132 young people aged 18 to 25, who were in the waiting room of a health center in the district of Cieneguilla. The study had a basic, quantitative, correlational approach with a non-experimental design. The Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TMMS-24) adapted in Lima by Huamán (2020) and the Assertiveness toward Sexuality Scale (SAS) adapted in Lima by Contreras (2018) were used for data collection. Statistical testing with Pearson's r resulted in a statistical degree of 0.417 (p > 0.005). The conclusion was that no relationship exists between the variables of emotional intelligence and assertiveness toward sexuality. Thus, this study, along with similar research, suggests that there is no relationship between having emotional control and making decisions regarding initiating, rejecting, or using contraceptive methods during sexual activity.Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional intelligence and depressive symptomatology in workers of the Central Market of Callao, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-29) Bernal Espinal, Paola Diana; Paico Ruiz, Marcos JoséThe objective of this research was to evaluate the relationship between emotional intelligence and depressive symptoms in workers from the Mercado Central del Callao. A non-experimental, quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional research design was used. A sample of 240 workers from the Mercado Central del Callao was selected, and they were assessed with the Beck Depression Inventory II and the BarOn Emotional Intelligence Inventory. The results showed a clear correlation between emotional intelligence and depressive symptoms (rho = -0.54; p < 0.01), as well as with the dimensions of emotional intelligence (p < 0.01). Materials and methods: The present study was approached from the quantitative approach, its design was correlational-cross-sectional. The sample was made up of 73 participants. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments used to measure the main variables were the TMMS-24 and Jefferson empathy scales. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 588 nursing students. The survey technique was used to collect the data. The Emotional Intelligence Scale instrument “TMMS – 24” created by Fernández-Berrocal, Extremera and Ramos was used; and, to measure empathy, the Jefferson Medical Empathy Scale (EEMJ) version E, translated into Spanish and created by Mohammadreza Hojat. Results: The relationship between the variables was evaluated using Spearman's statistical test (p: 0.318). It was shown that 62.4% of the students obtained a medium level of emotional intelligence; Regarding the dimensions, it was observed that 73.1% of the students obtained a medium level in the emotional perception dimension; 64.1% average level in understanding emotions; and 49.8% had a high level of emotion regulation; In relation to the empathy variable, the majority obtained a medium level with 80.6%; Regarding the dimensions, it was observed that 69.7% of the students obtained a medium level in the dimension ability to put themselves in the patient's shoes; 68.4% medium level in compassionate care; and 53.4% average level in perspective taking. The sample was made up of 539 nursing students. To collect the data, the survey technique was used, the instrument used was the Emotional Intelligence scale “TMMS – 24” created by Fernández-Berrocal, Extremera and Ramos and the other instrument used was the Jefferson Medical Empathy Scale (EEMJ). ) created by Mohammadreza Hojat. Results: The relationship between the variables was evaluated using Spearman's statistical test (p: 0.316). Of the total number of students surveyed, 49.9% had adequate emotional intelligence, 38% obtained medium empathy, 20.2% had low empathy, and 12.8% had high empathy. Excellent emotional intelligence with 25.4%, where 12.2% had high empathy, 11.5% had medium empathy and 3.7% had low empathy. Finally, emotional intelligence was low with 24.7%, 0.7% of students had low empathy, 0.4% had medium empathy, as well as 0.4% had high empathy. Conclusions: There is a moderate directly proportional relationship between emotional intelligence and empathy in nursing students who carry out pre-professional practices at the Norbert Wiener Private University. This work uses a hypothetical deductive methodology, with quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross-sectional correlational level, we will work with 80 nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit in a level III hospital. The TMMS24 emotional intelligence questionnaire proposed by the Slovey and Mayer research group in 1995 will be applied, which has excellent reliability with a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.94. The second Instrument “Caring Efficacy Scale” (1992) developed by Carolie Coates in Colorado - United States in 1992 and at the national level was validated by Casimiro in 2016, through a judgment of 05 experts where a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.875 was obtained. indicating a “respectable high” internal consistency. Material and Method: The method is quantitative, cross-sectional correlational, we worked with a population of 97 students from the intensive care specialty of the Norbert Wiener University. The data collection technique was the survey, the instrument; Trait Emotional Intelligence questionnaire (Short Version) (TEIQue-SF), for Humanized Care, the Caring Ability inventory (CAI) questionnaire proposed by Ngozi Nkongho in 1990. Results: The level of emotional intelligence was obtained in 96.9% of the students of the intensive care specialty at the Norbert Wiener University, Lima; they show average emotional intelligence; and other students high with 3.1%. At the Humanized Care level, 73.2% of the students in the intensive care specialty show a medium level, while 26.8% show a high level. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study approach was developed; The population was constituted by 77 nursing professionals from a Private Clinic in the City of Lima 2023 Results. In sociodemographic characteristics, there is age from 20 to 25 in 52%, from 26 to 35 in 39%, from 36 to more in 9%; for Sex they were Female in 87% and Male in 13%; Marital Status Married in 9%, Cohabiting 52% and Single in 39%. In the emotional perception dimension of emotional intelligence with work stress, finding that there is moderate work stress with adequate emotional intelligence in 31.2%.
