Objective: to establish the relationship between anxiety and depression in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of a reference hospital in the northern cone of Lima, 2021. Methods: the study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population and census sample will be made up of all the nursing staff who work in the intensive care unit of the Cayetano Heredia national hospital in the northern cone of Lima. The sample will be taken between July and August 2021 using two highly reliable questionnaires such as the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale and the Generalized Depression Disorder Scale, which will collect data to be processed using non-invasive tests. parametric tests to establish the relationship between both variables in order to predict depression in our staff.Ítem Acceso abierto Body mass index and associated factors in workers at a hospital in Lima, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-09-03) Vigo Tafur, Livia; León Cáceres, Johanna del CarmenDetermine the factors associated with the Body Mass Index in health workers at a hospital in Lima: 93 workers from the health facility were studied, including women and men between 19 and 60 years of age. The assessment of the nutritional status of the workers was carried out using the Body Mass Index and Percentage of Body Fat. The associated factors were determined by physical activity, tobacco consumption, time spent performing physical activity, consumption of alcoholic beverages, consumption of fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and fat consumption. The study revealed that 72% of workers have a weight within normal ranges, 19% have a Body Mass Index > 25 kg/m2. Furthermore, we have that 72.2% of workers have an inadequate level of body fat. 41% of workers do not perform physical activity or are sedentary and a similar percentage performs physical activity of 30 to 60 minutes a day. 53% of workers consume alcoholic beverages, 92% do not consume fruits and vegetables, 78% do not consume dairy products and 92% of workers consume fats. There is a significant relationship between Body Mass Index and body fat percentage. Having inadequate body fat showed a significant association with body mass index. Thus, 100% of the population with BMI > 25 kg/m2 and 87.5% of workers with a Body Mass Index within normal ranges have an inadequate body fat percentage. Other variables such as physical activity, tobacco consumption, alcohol, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and fats did not have a significant association.Ítem Acceso abierto Burnout syndrome and its relationship with job satisfaction in health personnel at the Manuel Barreto Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-29) Ruiz Meza, Cristian Francisco; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: Analyze the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in health personnel at the Manuel Barreto Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022. Methodology: It is a systematic, observational, retrospective search engine review. Sciencedirect, Pubmed, Elsevier and Scielo, Results: 70% (7/10) of the research reviewed mentions that homogeneous interventions of “provision of educational information plus physical activity” have had relevant results to reduce sedentary lifestyle in office workers . While 20% (2/10) of the studies only provided the “information dimension”, these have had lower results in their implementation. Likewise, 10% (1/10) of the studies only provided “physical activity”, a study that managed to achieve the standard of physical activity required per day. Conclusions: 7/10 scientific evidence concluded that the mixed intervention of “physical activity plus “information” is sustained over time to reduce sedentary lifestyle and illness in office workers. 2/10 evidence concludes that working on a single indicator “information provision” has little relevance to achieving behavioral change. While 1/10 study shows that working on a single indicator “physical activity” is extremely effective, but for the medium time.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Nursing Interventions on Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter to Reduce Complications in Neonatal Intensive Care Patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-29) Tamara Suero, Carmen; Tacza Geraldice, Katty Brunella; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: Systematize the evidence about the effectiveness of nursing interventions in the peripherally inserted central catheter to reduce complications in neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit.
