Ítem Acceso abierto Atypical findings in cervical cytology in patients treated at the Agusto Hernandez Mendoza Hospital in Ica, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-05) Díaz Palomino, Carlos Jesús; García Vásquez, Carlos HugoRecognizing the frequency of major abnormal findings will provide a theoretical basis for improving primary prevention for these patients through mass vaccination and raising awareness of the importance of proper gynecological check-ups to prevent cervical cancer. The center's preventive capacity will be enhanced by attracting more patients and performing cytologies according to the recommended guidelines, thereby reducing the number of cervical cancer cases diagnosed at advanced stages. Estos hallazgos subrayan que, aunque el conocimiento puede influir positivamente en las prácticas, este no es un factor determinante, lo que sugiere la necesidad de abordar otras barreras contextuales o conductuales, que podrían estar limitando que las madres implementen medidas preventivas efectivas.Ítem Acceso abierto Cross-cultural care and knowledge of anemia prevention in infants aged 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers from the Magdalena maternal health center, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-03-05) Navarro Bustos, Gabriela; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaThe general objective of this research is to determine the level of cross-cultural care and knowledge about anemia prevention in infants from 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers cared for at the Magdalena maternal and child health center, 2020. Likewise, the approach of this research is quantitative, applicative, descriptive, with a cross-sectional methodological design, non-experimental. And the study population was 84 migrant mothers, and the sample consisted of 70. The survey technique was used for both data collection instruments updated by the authors Parreño (2018) and Chucos (2018) on the level of cross-cultural care and knowledge about childhood anemia prevention respectively. Following the results found by 100% (70) migrant mothers surveyed, on the level of transcultural care is regular and medium with 30% (21) as prevalent, however separately the level of transcultural care is regular level 58.6% (41) prevalently and 41.4% (29) of the good level, while the level of knowledge of prevention of childhood anemia is low with 51.4% (36) prevalently, 41.4% (29) of the medium level and to a lesser extent the high level with 7.1% (5). Then, it is concluded that it was determined that the level of transcultural care and knowledge of prevention of anemia in infants from 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers who are treated at the Magdalena maternal and child health center are regular and medium prevalently.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of initial care in reducing complications in burn patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Cabrera Rivera, Giovanna Yasmin; Ramos Mendoza, Daniela Milagros; Glenni Garay, Zarely ZabeliThe type of research is qualitative, the study design is a systematic review, the population was 30 articles, the sample was comprised of 10 scientific articles published in scientific databases, the instrument was a database search: Cochrane Library, Scielo, PubMed, Burns-Journal, ELSEVIER, Redalyc, EBSCO, the GRADE method was used to evaluate the articles, which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. Results: 100% articles, 20% correspond to the USA, 20% Spain, 10% Costa Rica, 10% Chile, 10% Peru, 10% Venezuela, 20% Cuba. In relation to the designs and types of studies, 10% clinical trial, 20% systematic review, 20% cohort studies, 10% case-control, 40% descriptive/cross-sectional. Conclusions: It is concluded that 70% of the studies show that initial care was effective in reducing complications in burn patients because they had fewer days of hospitalization, a decrease in infections, improvements in satisfaction, a decrease in healing time, less sequelae, and improvements in the multidisciplinary work of health professionals; In 30% it was not effective because there was no data regarding the reduction of complications.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm infants.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Alcántara Segovia, Julie Stefany; Quispe Quispe, Luzmila Elvira; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MariaObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm newborns. Materials and Methods: This systematic review consists of 10 scientific articles found on the effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm newborns, found in the following databases: Lipecs, Lillacs, Scielo, Chrocane, Medline, and Pubmed. Among the evidence, we found experimental research designs, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews, with the articles published in Spanish and English, and no older than ten years. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 90% (9/10) show that the administration of oral lactoferrin in preterm newborns, with very low birth weight and neonates, decreases late-onset sepsis and necrotizing enterocolitis. 10% (1/10) does not show the effectiveness of oral lactoferrin in preterm newborns. Conclusion: The effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm newborns is evident.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm newborns.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Quispe Quispe, Luzmila Elvira; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MariaObjective: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of oral lactoferrin for the prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in preterm newborns. This study will have the objective: “To determine how the level of knowledge is related to the practice on the prevention of breast cancer in users of the oncology service”, the approach will be quantitative with a hypothetical deductive method; with a cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational design, the type of study is applied, the sample will be made up of 70 patients who attend the Ramiro Priale Priale hospital in the department of Junín, since the sample is small so it will be census, Two validated instruments will be used as the questionnaire for the first variable and in the second variable it will also be a questionnaire, to process and analyze the data, Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 26 will be used, for the hypothesis test the chi will be applied. square which is a non-parametric test that seeks the correlation of the variables, the results of the study will be displayed in tables and graphs.Ítem Acceso abierto Risk factors associated with high blood pressure in adult patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Apolinario Páez, Patricia Nohemi; Cano Churampi, Jessica Sonia; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Determine the risk factors associated with high blood pressure in adult patients. Materials and methods: Systematic investigations are an observational and retrospective research design that synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations, which are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to its rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of the clinical practice. Results: The scientific articles included in the systematic review on the risk factors associated with hypertension in adults were found in the following databases Lipecs, Lilacs Scielo and Medline, all of them correspond to the type and design of cross-sectional studies. The studies reviewed show that the risk factors associated with high blood pressure are obesity, hypercholesterolemia, age, overweight, low HDL concentrations and an inadequate lifestyle. Conclusions: The risk factors associated with high blood pressure are obesity, hypercholesterolemia, age, overweight, low HDL concentrations and inadequate lifestyle. Interventions to control high blood pressure are to achieve the maximum reduction in the total long-term risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. This process should be based on primary prevention and early detection of all identified reversible risk factors and management. adequate of the associated clinical conditions such as the increase in blood pressure itself.
