Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, which outlines the results of multiple investigations, based on evidence, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions, the search was restricted to articles with text, using the grade system to assign the evidence and strength of recommendation. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, including systematic reviews, controlled or randomized clinical trials, meta-analysis finding that 90% of articles affirm that nursing educational intervention in the care of lower extremities is effective for reducing complications. Results: 10 articles were selected, and it was found that 70% (7) were from Spain, 10% (1) from Mexico, Peru, and Portugal respectively. All the articles analyzed affirmed the effectiveness of an educational intervention for emotional management in reducing preoperative patient anxiety. These articles were published within the last 5 years in English and Spanish, and were found in the following databases: Pubmed, Scielo, and Cochrane Plus, and were subjected to a critical reading. Results: A total of 10 articles were analyzed, with 40% highlighting the increase in knowledge about chronic kidney disease, 20% emphasizing improvements in diet control as a result of nursing education, 20% discussing adherence to dialysis treatment, pharmacological compliance, and vaccination. Another 10% referred to infection prevention, family guidance, promotion of comfortable environments, and control of nitrogenous substances. The remaining 10% described coping techniques for anxiety and depression. Conclusion: 100% of the articles demonstrate the effectiveness of nursing education in patients, as it increases their self-care ability regarding the disease, with healthy habits, improving quality of life, preventing risks, reducing morbidity and mortality, and delaying the progression of chronic kidney disease from its early stages.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of an educational program for the development of competencies in disaster situations in nursing professionals(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-03-08) Llacma Rafaele, Abigail; Reyes Pariona, Marino; Basurto Santillán, Ivan JavierObjective: Systematize the evidence found on the effectiveness of an educational program for the development of competencies in disaster situations in nursing professionals. Material and Methods: the design used for the purposes of this study was the systematic review, based on the GRADE evaluation system that allowed evaluating the quality of the evidence of the articles selected from the following databases: PubMed, ScientDirect, EBSCO and Epistemonikos. Results: The reviewed articles showed that 40% are systematic reviews, 40% are randomized clinical trials, 10% are quasi-experimental design and 10% correspond to the pre-posttest quasi-experimental design. On the other hand, in 90% of the articles evidence was found of the effectiveness of an educational program for the development of competencies of nursing professionals in disaster situations, while 10% did not find evidence regarding the effectiveness of a educational program for the development of competencies in disaster situations in nursing professionals. Conclusion: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed in (9/10) it was found that there is effectiveness of an educational program for the development of competencies in disaster situations in nursing professionals and in (1/10) no effectiveness of a educational program for the development of competencies in disaster situations in nursing professionals.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of an educational program for the prevention of overweight in children and adolescents.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-01-27) Montenegro Ocampo, Lila Maribel; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioMaterials and Methods: A systematic review of 10 articles on the efficacy of an educational program for preventing overweight in children and adolescents was conducted. These articles were sourced from the following databases: Cochrane, Lilacs, SciELO, Medline, and PubMed. All articles were analyzed using the GRADE scale to determine the strength and quality of the evidence. Results: From the final selection of 10 articles, 50% (5) were from Mexico, 10% (1) from Ecuador, 10% from Argentina, 10% from Chile, 10% from Brazil, and 10% from the United States. Regarding research methodology, most studies were experimental, accounting for 50%, primarily in Mexico, Brazil, and the United States. Of the articles analyzed, 80% confirmed that educational interventions promoting healthy eating contribute to preventing overweight in children and adolescents. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search for evidence is developed systematically with selection criteria, articles with full text have been restricted and The selected articles were subjected to critical reading. In the final selection, ten articles were chosen. It is observed that the origin of the evidence found must indicate that; 20% (2/10) corresponds to the USA, 20% (2/10) corresponds to China, and the remaining 60% (6/10) corresponds to Italy, Greece, Vietnam, Chile, Mexico and Colombia respectively. Results: According to the results obtained, it can be seen that of the total of 10 articles reviewed, 100% demonstrate that Psychoeducational Programs aimed at family members are effective in improving adherence to treatment in patients with schizophrenia. There was a population of 75 articles, of which a sample of 10 was chosen. Results: The total number of articles analyzed (100%) affirm that education is effective in the prevention and evolution of patients with diabetic foot. Conclusions: The education program aimed at patients with diabetic foot is effective, since they understand the importance of self-care, effective education results in modifying knowledge and self-care behaviors, in the favorable evolution of wounds, improvement of somatometric parameters and metabolic processes and improving the quality of life of patients with diabetic foot Recommendations: Spread the impact that educational programs have aimed at patients with diabetic foot, in terms of their better evolution and reduction of complications. The search was restricted to articles with full text; The selected articles were subjected to critical reading, using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendation. Results: 100% of the articles were quantitative studies; In 70% the design was systematic reviews, 20% was quasi-experimental and 10% was a community trial. 40% come from Spain, 20% from Brazil, 20% from Chile, 10% come from Colombia and 10% from Peru. 80% of the studies conclude that the interventions are effective; 80% (08) indicate that educational programs are more effective when they jointly consider adequate nutrition with the promotion of the practice of physical activity. Methodology: A purely quantitative approach was followed as it measured the variables under study; it was a quasi-experimental longitudinal design to determine the effectiveness of the healthy posture educational program in controlling pain in the 74 workers participating in the study. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the Visual Analog Scale. Results: In the first stage, it was found that 71.6% had mild pain, 25.7% reported moderate pain, and 2.7% had severe pain according to the EVA scale. In the second stage of the study, it was found that 45.9% no longer had pain, 40.5% had mild pain, 10.8% reported moderate pain, and 2.7% had pain according to the EVA scale. Based on the results of the McNemar test, it was found that the program reduces the pain level in the staff who participated in the “Healthy Posture” educational program (p=0.008<0.05), reflecting the good functioning of the educational program. They agreed that a self-care educational program for patients with an ostomy, after medical discharge, can be considered an appropriate tool or method for monitoring, improving care and general satisfaction. In addition, specialized nursing and education protocols were effective in reducing ostomy complications, avoiding previous errors and reducing hospital readmission.
