Material and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search was restricted to full-text articles, subject to critical reading, using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendation. Results: 10 articles were selected, and it was found that 70% (7) were from Spain, 10% (1) from Mexico, Peru, and Portugal respectively. All the articles analyzed affirmed the effectiveness of an educational intervention for emotional management in reducing preoperative patient anxiety. Conclusions: It was evidenced that the reviewed studies confirm that an educational intervention in the preoperative period is effective in reducing patient anxiety.
Resumen
Material y Métodos: Revisión sistemática observacional y retrospectivo, la búsqueda se ha restringido a artículos de texto completo, sometidos a una lectura crítica, utilizando el sistema grade para asignar la fuerza de recomendación. Resultados: Se seleccionaron 10 artículos se encontró que el 70% (07) corresponden al España, un 10% (01) aporta México, Perú y Portugal respectivamente. Todos los artículos analizados afirman la efectividad de una intervención educativa para el manejo emocional en la disminución de la ansiedad del paciente en el preoperatorio. Conclusiones: Se evidencio que en las investigaciones revisadas que una intervención educativa en el preoperatoria es efectiva en la ansiedad del paciente en preoperatorio.
