Methodology: A deductive method with a quantitative approach was applied. The study was also basic and had a descriptive, longitudinal, and prospective level. Results: The average compliance with GSP among the drugstores regarding the quality assurance system was 18.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 27.00% (LOW) on the second, and 35.00% (LOW) on the third. For facilities and distribution, concerning location and required areas, compliance was 40.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 47.00% (LOW) on the second, and 50.00% (MEDIUM) on the third. For documentation (official books, SOPs, etc.), compliance was 29.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 39.00% (LOW) on the second, and 54.00% (MEDIUM) on the third. For human resources (knowledge, understanding, and compliance with the GSP Manual), it was 23.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 35.00% (LOW) on the second, and 36.00% (LOW) on the third. It is worth noting that the drugstores did not have temperature-sensitive products and thus did not require refrigeration or freezer units. Conclusion: The evaluated points of GSP in the five pharmaceutical establishments (drugstores) had a compliance of 27.50% (LOW) on the first visit, 37.00% (LOW) on the second, and 43.75% (LOW) on the third. Buenas prácticas de dispensación en antibióticos en los establecimientos farmacéuticos en el distrito de Comas. Lima 2021
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-08-13) Chávez Quispe, Martina; Perez Yapias, Brilly Yoselin; Ramos Jaco, Antonio Guillermo
The process of dispensing drugs is a fundamental part of a patient's pharmacotherapy, aiming to promote, prevent, restore, and rehabilitate the population's health. This study's objective was to evaluate the Good Dispensing Practices for antibiotics in pharmaceutical establishments in the district of Comas, Lima, during the period of January-July 2021. The methodology used was an observational, cross-sectional, and prospective design. A data collection instrument was used for a sample of 200 individuals dedicated to dispensing in pharmacies and drugstores in the Comas district. The study evaluated four dimensions: reception and validation of prescriptions, type of pharmaceutical establishment, product delivery, and information. The results show that 81.5% of those evaluated complied with Good Dispensing Practices in the dimensions of validation and reception of medical prescriptions. Specifically, 100% compliance was found in the verification of medical prescription validity, while in the case of drugstores, it was only 83%. In the professionalism indicator, there was 100% non-compliance in scenarios without a medical prescription and 85% non-compliance in scenarios with a medical prescription. Regarding the delivery of products and information, a high non-compliance rate was evidenced, at 98.5% and 97% for the scenarios with and without medical prescriptions, respectively. Furthermore, in Table 2 and Figure 2, a higher level of compliance was observed in pharmacies compared to drugstores across all indicators, with the greatest difference in the verification of prescription validity (100% in pharmacies vs. 83% in drugstores). In conclusion, a high percentage of non-compliance with good dispensing practices exists in both scenarios, which can lead to complications in patient treatment.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-25) Castañeda Salazar, Lorena Jaqueline; Hernández Medina, Shirley Olga; Félix Véliz, Luis Miguel Visitación

A descriptive and prospective study was conducted, in which 270 medical prescriptions were evaluated and received from hospitals, clinics, solidarity hospitals, polyclinics, and private practices. 106 were from Botica Latina and 164 were from Botica Líder. To evaluate compliance with Good Prescribing Practices, the Manual of Good Prescribing Practices from the Ministry of Health and the General Directorate of Medicines, Supplies, and Drugs of Peru was used, as well as the respective manual for the analysis of good dispensing practices. It was found that 78.5% (212 prescriptions) omitted the patient's age, 76.3% (206 prescriptions) omitted the diagnosis, and 93% (251 prescriptions) omitted the issuance and expiration date. 65.2% (176 prescriptions) omitted the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), 43% (116 prescriptions) omitted the concentration, and 39.3% (106 prescriptions) omitted the dose frequency. Consequently, it is concluded that there is non-compliance with Good Prescribing Practices, which will limit dispensing in both districts.
