(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-09) Pajuelo Rios, Oscar Gabriel; Inocente Camones, Miguel Angel
Creatine supplementation would promote muscle hypertrophy through various mechanisms of action. The present secondary research entitled "critical review: effect of creatine supplementation on muscle hypertrophy in people undergoing training for muscle hypertrophy", aimed to evaluate the effect of creatine supplementation on muscle hypertrophy in people undergoing to resistance physical training with experience in strength training. Clinical question: What is the effect of creatine supplementation on muscle hypertrophy in people undergoing physical training for muscle hypertrophy with experience in that type of training? The Evidence-Based Nutrition (NuBE) methodology was used. The information search was carried out in Cienciascience, Cochrane, Dialnet, Pubmed, Scielo, finding 337 articles, 33 being selected that have been evaluated by the CASPE critical reading tool, finally selecting the Randomized Clinical Trial entitled Creatine supplementation elicits greater muscle hypertrophy in upper than lower limbs and trunk in resistance – trained men, with an AI level of evidence and a strong Grade of Recommendation, according to the researcher's criteria.
