Bienestar psicológico y estrés laboral en efectivos policiales de la comisaría sectorial Jaén, 2025

Abstract

El propósito de esta indagación fue determinar la relación que existe entre el bienestar psicológico y el estrés laboral en efectivos policiales de la comisaría sectorial Jaén. Fue un estudio de tipo básico, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. Se encuestó a un total de 114 efectivos policiales, a quienes se administró la “Escala de Bienestar Psicológico para Adultos (BIEPS-A)” de Casullo y la “Escala de Estrés Laboral de la OIT/OMS”. Los resultados exteriorizaron que el bienestar psicológico guardó correlación estadísticamente significativa (p< .001), de tipo inversa y de intensidad baja (rs= -.375) con el estrés laboral. En su mayoría los efectivos policiales presentaron un alto nivel de bienestar psicológico (92.1%) y un muy bajo nivel de estrés laboral (71.1%). Respecto a las dimensiones del bienestar psicológico, todas mantuvieron una correlación estadísticamente significativa (p<.001) con el estrés laboral; no obstante, la dimensión vínculos psicosociales fue la única que obtuvo una intensidad moderada.

The purpose of this investigation was to determine the relationship that exists between psychological well-being and work stress in police officers from the Jaén sector police station. It was a basic type study, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and cross sectional. A total of 114 police officers, to whom the “Casullo Psychological Well-being Scale for Adults (BIEPS-A)” and the “ILO/WHO Work Stress Scale” were administered. The results showed that psychological well-being had a statistically significant correlation (p < .001), of an inverse type and of low intensity (rs = -.375) with work stress. The majority of police officers presented a high level of psychological well-being (92.1%) and a very low level of work stress (71.1%). Regarding the dimensions of psychological well-being, all maintained a statistically significant correlation (p<.001) with work stress; However, the psychosocial ties dimension was the only one that obtained a moderate intensity.
